  1. That is so amazing, plus to think there are people up there in that speck. Did you wave?
  2. Coffee makes my stomach hurt. I have always drank tea, cream and sugar. I like berry FLAVORED tea, but not herbal teas. Then I went on a study with a pioneer sis, her study an Indian lady. She always made this astonishingly delicious tea. I volunteered to go with her often until the husband's work project was done and they went back to India. Come to find out it was Chai Latte. When I read the ingredients I thought it couldn't be the same tea....it had ginger and cloves which I hate. But the vanilla, cinnamon, cardamom, ginger, cloves and etc made it spicy and sweet. I use half the Tazo chai mix and half some vanilla soy milk or my new favorite vanilla almond milk. Now I don't like the regular black tea lol
  3. I went to Brooklyn & Wallkill a couple years ago. Have never been to Canada Bethel and I figure Patterson & Warwick will be swamped with visitors. What I am asking is does anyone have any current info/recommendations on accommodations (hotel/motel/air bnb) places to eat, and any other things to do or see while up there in Canada? Thanks for any input. Sent from my SM-T710 using Tapatalk
  4. Good, thank you for the info. I was thinking we didn't need them anymore with jw.org and jw broadcasting and jw library. Sent from my SM-T710 using Tapatalk
  5. Does anyone know if there will be any 2017 calendars published by the Organization? I'm ordering some things on a jw supplies website and they have pretty calendars but first I want to see if anymore coming from literature counter. Sent from my SM-T710 using Tapatalk

  8. We own our home but I basically call it renting from the government. Even if you have no mortgage like us and own it outright, if you don't pay your taxes they can take it from you and I do not call that ownership. But if we ever left here I want to get a "tiny house!" BestLifeEVER
  9. They had to make an emergency landing and he was treated for the flu. He wasn't feeling well & had to cancel concerts. People do die of plain old influenza. BestLifeEVER
  10. Oh, my hubby Leon climbed up almost to the snow level of El Popo in the late 80's when he was doing international work at Texacoco working on the residential buildings at the Branch office, and the new (then) Assembly Hall in Mexico City & other jobs. He was there about a year. BestLifeEVER
  11. When you link to the article & read it the next story in line reminds me of the Nazis persecution of JW's, thought the family in the article are only identified as "Christian" Banning holidays & not wanting kids to be raised religiously,....hmmm BestLifeEVER
