He use to be our circuit overseer in the late 70’s. He and his wife always stayed their visit at my father-in-laws. A very encouraging brother.

If they were giving that stuff away for free it wouldn’t be worth risking your life among all those people, and almost all of them not wearing gloves or a mask. Stay home, be safe, follow Jehovah’s direction. Stay alive. We need each other.

The trial run for our congregation was perfect. It was so encouraging to be together again even it it’s on a virtual level. It was mentioned that this is going to be how it is for quite a while. I just love it. There were many on there that haven’t been real regular for awhile. Our CO even talked a little. This is the week for his visit so I’m really looking forward to tomorrow night and his service talk and the latest updates from the branch and all that. Anyway, it was wonderful and gave me a sense of normality and reassurance that Jehovah is right there and in full control and always will be. Thank you Jehovah!

The meeting for me that starts right now is just a rehearsal for our meeting tomorrow night. To be continued...

Got that same message this morning. Same time for us 6 PM

I wonder what they’re doing about all the homeless people that are living literally on the streets, in tents and in cardboard boxes right next to each other? Even in big cities like L.A., they’re all over the place by the thousands in some places. It can’t be good.

Watching the link that friends of Ross posted, and the additional video, it’s very obvious to see how absolutely vital it is to work in conjunction with the instructions they are giving us. They’re trying to save lives and control health systems that are overloaded and being stressed to the breaking point. We definitely need to willingly comply! They are saying that we are on a trajectory equal to that of Italy. Scary.

Why is it so much easier when it’s someone else? But when it’s us it’s becomes so much more real... in a bad way. But.... the way it’s going there’s no telling what the government might do next. So we wait... for the other shoe to drop. Go bags maybe?

I’m thinking about when this pandemic is past. I’m thinking how charged up all of us will be to get back to our witnessing work. What might our work or message focus on? How might people respond? What we’re going thru now is something that none of us have ever gone thru before, many people said that these kinds of things would never happen. But here we are. Will some listen to us a little more now? There’s this new reality now that this kind of thing can in fact happen because it has. So, I’m beginning to wonder how I can prepare for what might be on peoples minds. I’m just thinking out loud here. Who knows what’s next. It’s kinda hard to prepare for something that we don’t know about. But one thing we do know for sure is that when the time comes the slave will tell us what to do. Should be interesting.

I remember when I was in Vietnam there weren’t any dogs running around. I watched a lady one time holding a mouse by the tail, hold her head back and put that mouse in her mouth and swallow it. Even though I was in the world back then I still thought that eating a mouse was a little bit.....unusual. But that was par for course, they thought nothing of that kind of stuff. And now I think about what might be coming soon all over the world, how conditions might be like those inside Jerusalem when the Romans had bottled up the city. Paints a pretty ugly picture. People need to get out of the world NOW, if it’s not too late. This might be just a warm up to what’s about to hit the world. Stay safe everyone.

When I was at the VA in Iron Mountain MI. today, I asked one of the clerks if I could have a mask. She said no because they’re only giving them to people that have symptoms.... I said, say what? Isn’t that a little too late, I’m trying to not get the virus. Whatever... she did let me have a slug of the hand sanitizer, but kept the bottle close to her because she said people were stealing them. And they wonder why the virus is spreading.

I liked bro. Lett’s reference to to Isa. 60:16 and how Jehovah’s people are ‘sucking the milk of the nations’ applying it to modern day technology and how we benefit from using it with our current meeting adjustments. There’s no way Satans going to get the advantage over Jehovah’s people.
