Looks like Monkeypox possibly a resurge of a new train of smallpox, is the next big one. Just hoping to get my holiday in before the borders close. (Chances are they'll be starting "the blame game" (biological weapon released by Russia /China yada yada yada) .... here de go again😣 On the good side there'll be a chance for the WHO treaty to get a dry run. Dont feel quite so panicked for this coming pandemic (Hope the vaccine against this one will be available in pill form... I hate needles)

I think that we are going to have to get used to "rolling lockdowns" in life in general and its only to be expected the brothers will be equally cautious. I've not heard of this but like masks, daily latetal flow tests and quarterly injections, the sooner as we get used to these things being a permanent part of life in this system, the less traumatic for us.

Well since its safe for adults and protects us against serious illness and death from Covid, how can it *not* be good news they're testing to give the same thing to babies? Even if its one baby in a million dies of Covid, thats one baby too many, so yes its good news. Why wouldn't it be !?

Just to be clear I was not talking of protection from COVID I was talking about protection from adverse effects of the VACCINES. Update #9 seemed very clear to me, based on the brothers own figures (not relying on'outside sources) , there is nothing to fear from the vaccine and more importantly, Jehovah would not allow the GB to recommend something harmful to the brotherhood. The brothers have already shared the numbers on the Bethel families and there's little doubt the majority of the friends have followed their lead.... is it outside the realms of reason that Jehovah protect his people from any serious adverse effects? Just wondering is all ... (As a side point, have all' the recipients in biblical miracles known while it was happening they were benefiting from divine protection /intervention?!)

Yes Il sure you're right, I'm just talking about the COVID health passes and the need to have twice yearly injections (booster or new vaccines) to maintain our vaccine status so we can have access to public spaces. In some countries (and eventually I should think, globally) you will lose your vaccine status after 6 months if you do not have your booster (ie you will be classified as non-vaccinated and not have access to some services like pubs and restaurants, as well as eventually school campus, or be able to work in the health sector, public transport etc. At first proof of antibodies will ensure your covid pass is green but I think even now there are countries where you must have proof of a shot to maintain your status.

My understanding (I will stand corrected) is that eventually everyone will need to be vaccinated and boostered since both the effects of the vaccine and ones natural immunity wane every 6 months. In any case, to have a green light on your covid health pass (for travel and access to public spaces), that will be the case, even if science doesnt dictated this, governments measures will take the better safe than sorry approach.

I hope nobody takes this badly and its just a question, but does anyone think Jehovah is protecting his people from the possible accute adverse side effects of the vaccines? I know we should not expect miracles in this time of the end but it seems to me that the brothers are saying that we should not fear severe adverse effects or death although these are indeed possible side effects. Since Jehovahs people are mostly all vaccinated and we are not experiencing any deaths (or heart damage , brain damage or any of the more accute effects reported in government reporting systems and/or acknowledged by the producers) through these vaccines, could it be we are being miraculously protected even though we dont know it? Just a thought, does it make sense?

I think it is understood we will have to be vaccinated every 6 months or so for as long as this system lasts. This will be stranger for us Europeans as (unlike Americans ) flu shots were only recommended for the old and the immunocompromised and never given to children... so it will be a big shift to think of having to take a regular shot for the rest of our lives (in this system)

What do you mean "none of this has been substantiated"? Both the VAERS and the YELLOW CARD are officially recognised report systems (managerd by the CDC and FDA and in the case of the YC the British government). The Numbers are not debatable: I made a statement of fact that both contain of reports of deaths (and thousands of adverse reactions) following administration of the vaccines. I made no mention whatsoever of causality, so would I appreciate you not implying that I did. As for conclusions, again I made no mention whatsoever of the objective of the sites but voiced my personal feelings about what I have read on them. If we are now NOT voicing our personal feelings, that's fine. I will wait for all the posts of how happy, excited and relieved brothers and sisters are to finally have their vaccines to be deleted a long with all the "clapping" emogis. Until then "I'm scared" is just as legitimate a personal conclusion as "I'm happy".

I have grappled wth this question as I truly Believe the reports of thousands (not a few dozen) THOUSANDS of people dying horribly following taking thèse vaccines, but I do not believe ANYONE is responsible for the medical choices of another if they are adults of sound mind. So no, speaking out is in my opinion my moral responsibility.
