More than likely did not catch him in time. I know here you cant go up on the podium in any form and/or run roving mic's with one. I can understand that. -

I asked one of the elders in my Hall who is a major tech guy why he doesn't use an Ipad during the mtg - he said he uses it all the time for personal study but feels that if he brought it to the mtg some would think he was bragging about having one or that others might think they need one too, so he just prefers to go books-only while at the hall. Its interesting at our convention I noticed even CO's using tablets to take notes. -

My aunt due to the flu and cannot make it to the convention so looks like I might have to pick-up an Ipad to record the program after all. Sorry if this has been discussed but I can record the talks, video the drama and take notes at the same time? -

What do you use to study the Watchtower re: underline? Do you just download the epub or pdf version? -
I have been thinking of using a Tablet for everything at the meetings, even personal study. Just wondering if anyone here currently uses this method? Is it really more beneficial? I also seen an older couple at our recent convention using one each to record their notes! I hate my handwritting so that would be amazing! Anyways, just looking for input, advantages/disadvantages, etc.

All the more reason I am getting an emergency kit this week! I keep putting it off but anything can happen in an instant.

Does anyone have any news on our brothers in Calgary? They were to have their convention this past weekend at the Saddledome but the entire arena was flooded up to the first 10 rows from ice-level. So sad.

I'm the same. Deleted my FB, or as I call it SpyBook, about 2 yrs ago. So true what you say - its just a place for ppl to show off. Did the same recently with Instagram as well. For ppl that wanna show off its perfect. -
