  1. Oooo. Awesome. Love a good time travel book. Sent from my SM-A336E using Tapatalk
  2. Was brother Chuck on MIRC all those years ago with sister Linda and Brother Robert? Walter Paul? Is that the same Brother Chuck? Sent from my SM-A336E using Tapatalk
  3. These I ordered from.shein. just under formal pants. Sent from my SM-A336E using Tapatalk
  4. Ok. This is what I have decided on. Sort of skirt/pants. Sent from my SM-A336E using Tapatalk
  5. That's funny. The shaving the legs part was my first thought. Sent from my SM-A336E using Tapatalk
  6. We have had the police called on our brothers once recently when they went to the door. The householder called the police because she had two people impersonating jehovahs witnesses at her door. She told them it couldn't be JW's cause the men had beards. Sisters change of attire is going to confuse them even more! Sent from my SM-A336E using Tapatalk
  7. SHOCKED! AMAZED. Unsure how I feel. Need to think on this alot. Sent from my SM-A336E using Tapatalk
  8. No not that one. Although it was good also. Sent from my SM-A336E using Tapatalk
  9. Dear Lori, My daughter is baptised but left the truth a year ago so I can say I have asked this question for about 9 months after. Made me SICK just thinking about her. I wish we could just HUG. There was a WT months ago and I'm so sorry I didn't save it. But it helped me so much. Just one paragraph. Here is why. I did my 100% best to help my daughter learn and stay in the truth. And I failed. It's heartbreaking. I feel as if she will never come back. She isn't humble and has alot of worldly thinking. BUT, Matt 19:26 helped me alot. With Jehovah all things are possible. So, I have had to now leave it up to him. I can only pray that if possible little things reach her heart. So similary with how your feeling. We just really need to leave this to Jehovah. We can only love them now, and remind them of Jehovah. It's up to them if they want to heed his warnings. It only matters that we prove Satan a liar and serve Jehovah and put our trust in him. Jehovah know how much we care for our daughters, he will provide us with comfort at our time of need. In the meantime, keep relying on him. Much love. Fiona Sent from my SM-A336E using Tapatalk
  10. Thank.you so much Sent from my SM-A336E using Tapatalk
  11. Gday A little while ago, there was someone that posted about an image search application they made to search for images from the brothers. I cannot find it anywhere. Does anyone have it please or know where I can find the post? My husband is doing a talk and wants a couple of specific images he remembers. Thank you Sent from my SM-A336E using Tapatalk
  12. I guess as most brothers have never had a beard they have to learn how to maintain then. Sent from my SM-A336E using Tapatalk
  13. Thank you. Such a relief. Been praying for them. Sent from my SM-A336E using Tapatalk
  14. Anyone hear about our brothers in Japan? Horrible earthquake there a few days ago, and I've been holding out for news on JW.ORG. Maybe I still need to wait, but was hoping someone here might know. Thanks Sent from my SM-A336E using Tapatalk
  15. The thing is though, we do things for.the ones we love. I have long hair. Do I like having to detangle my knots daily when I was my hair? Have it make me hot in summer? No, but I do it not because my husband makes me, and not because he won't love me if I cut it, but because I know he likes it. I do all sorts of things not because I want to but because he wants to or it makes him happy. And the same is said vice versa. He does all sorts of things purely because he knows I like it. This way we rarely please ourselves, but we are pleased because we please each other. This makes for.our happy marriage. Now if I KNEW my husband really wanted a beard, would I make such a comment to him, " you don't shave, so I wont"? Of course not. But it's a joke for us. He doesn't really want a beard. And I am sooooo very thankful. Sent from my SM-A336E using Tapatalk
  16. On the other hand , I am a sister who HATES beards. I've begged my husband not to grow one. I've told him, if he stops shaving so will I. He can have my hairy armpits and legs. Sent from my SM-A336E using Tapatalk
  17. We went for.a.tour today. It was amazing we got to walk among the set. (No filming taking place) it's amazing. I cannot wait to see it. Absolutely packed at bethel. So many tours running. Very very enjoyable and we felt very privileged to see it. Sent from my SM-A336E using Tapatalk
  18. G'day, I came across a jw travel group called jwtrips.com. very good idea but you worry about the legitimacy of them as we are in Australia. Does anyone know of any lagit jw travel trip operators who maybe do tours or cruises? Mum is recently widowed and I'm trying to encourage her to travel. Thanks Sent from my SM-A336E using Tapatalk
  19. Ditto for me too. I have always felt inadequate and thought the brothers put alot of effort into the presentations, I could not improve on it. So have just done what they do every month. Obviously if need be I go off topic but 99% of the time it helps me to know what to say. Now I'm a very nervous pioneer again. Sent from my SM-A336E using Tapatalk
  20. Of course. But because we live in different parts of the world some may get it earlier in the day or some later. Not complaining, just a fact. I still need that patience if I'm unable to stay up till midnight. Sent from my SM-A336E using Tapatalk
  21. In Australia the broadcast isn't generally available till very late Monday night or early Tue Morning. I have an early start at work 6am till 3pm. So I will have to wait till after work Tue. Needless to say I am still working on patience. Sent from my SM-A336E using Tapatalk
  22. I totally get where your coming from. But more than likely HE will not eat the entire cake. Yes, he shouldn't be eating it perhaps at all. But when one is chronically ill, sometimes they just want to feel normal. Perhaps for his birthday his family want him to feel loved and special which is a normal thing for people of the world on their birthdays. To be treated as an ill person and be reminded of your illnesses is very tiring. I can understand his family also. When my son was sick we did things I'm sure some people would never understand. But we did it for mental health reasons and a reminder of what to fight for. If he was having this cake daily for weeks it would be an issue. An occasional reminds you to enjoy life. 23. My first thought was Yes absolutely. It's a privilege to be a mum. Jehovah will always be our father no matter how old we get. So why not. But if my "kids" decided not too after a few hundred years, I guess I wouldn't be upset. Sent from my SM-A336E using Tapatalk
  24. When we lived in Sydney we had 13 bethelites. One was on the branch committee. They brought so much to the Cong. Sent from my SM-A336E using Tapatalk
