TODAY we are celebrating our 66th wedding anniversary.
He has been a faithful Brother for 50 years, a MS who pioneered many years. He is now in hospice in a nursing home so I don't know if there will be a 67th. 😢
So please celebrate this day with us....💕

What does an apostate gain from accusing faithful brothers of being JW apostates...? 🤔
 
Jealousy? A former overrighteous JW? Just to be annoying?

Usually they attempt to draw people out the truth, but.. trying to accuse you of not being a "true brother" based on your "conduct" (interests, appearance, etc) would only push one further to be even more spiritually stronger wouldn't it? How does that achieve apostate goals?

My only "logical" guess at this point (because it was one of the most extremly backward apostate attacks I've ever experienced - reverse psychology?) is that perhaps they didn't like it that I was making JWs look "normal" by being public with my interests, writing, beard and so on (all lines of attack the apostate accused me with), along with my preaching, which flies in the face of their "all JWs are robotic cultists with no lives" rhetoric. Perhaps thier weapon against someone like me, is to smear me and accuse me of not being a JW, but a fake one? For the sake of "onlookers" as opposed to trying to draw "me" out the truth?
 
Or perhaps they are trying to convince me as a practicing JW, that I'm "not allowed to have my interests" I have as a JW, in the hopes that I'll buckle and say "oh no! But I want to do those things!" and just get up and leave without out second thought whatsoever? (If so, it's the dumbest attempt of subversion I've ever seen).

Who knows. I can't think of any other reason for such a weird way of attacking someone. I feel like I've just personally experienced Mark 3:22-23


 

After 34 yrs, I am no longer a spiritual widow, or my children orphans, thanks to Jehovah. My husband Julian was baptized on Aug 24,2019. I have a new assignment now:To help him be the best servant he can be for Jehovah.

Tonight bad news, one of our brother's got DF'D.  The influence of the air got him.  The brother was baptized on the same day and month I was along with several others.  Out of the 6 of us baptized, he and I were the only ones left in the truth. Then this happened. It really hurt my heart that his happened this evening.  I know if he repents, he'll be back! 

Very sad day for me today.
 
Before 8:30 am this morning my spiritual mom messaged me to call her.
 
I went to pick her up to bring her to the hospital where a couple brothers met us and they went with “mom” into the room.
 
Dad past away early this morning. He was in the hospital for a while, put in a nursing home for about 3 weeks or so. Came home about 3 weeks ago on Monday, Tuesday night he was taken by ambulance and ended up in ICU. never leaving that floor.
 
Started him on dialysis this week. Took 30 pounds of water out on Wednesday and another 40 on Thursday and told mom they wanted to take another 20 today...she wouldn’t sign the papers.
 
With 5th stage kidney disease, heart disease, and a host of other issues, dad’s no longer in pain. 
 
Dad’s in Jehovah’s memory. 
 
As a sister told me when my “real” mom passed away, “There’s no better place to be.”

Going to our DC this week in Columbus GA. Can hardly wait. Anyone from here going to be there?

It’s a sad day for me. My sister has died. She’s resting now at last. In Jehovah’s perfect memory. 
I will find time for tears, but, I just made a salad, and, it is time for service. 
I think I’m afraid to start crying.
