You see,I have been a victim of expecting too many things out of this system of things perhaps just like you,
my disappointments have been terrible and unbearable,
I realize I cannot continue Iiving that way and going in circles.
 
I have come to truly understand the value of living a life that is focused on spiritual things only; get yourself busy with spiritual activities,take field service more seriously, associate closely with the christian brotherhood,get involved in congregation get-togethers,enjoy your personal spiritual routine etc
 
This has proven to be the best way to survive this system of things without bruises.
Just stop expecting too much from this system of things, the system doesn't have what you're looking for.

One of our elders remarked recently that he actually got to sit and enjoy the assembly for once. I appreciate all of the attendants (especially those working outside the auditorium) who must miss parts they'd LOVE to just sit and listen❤️

Also called "earthing" by some. I believe Jehovah meant for us to have that connection to the earth. (lol....for dust you are, and to the dust you will return...)

I fell asleep at a Regional Convention once, I was sucking on a candy to stay awake but I fell asleep anyway and then drooled all over myself. My wife thought I had a heart attack, so I wake up to her yelling at me during the convention. Be glad no one woke you up yelling during the meeting..

lol....I'm literally giggling over this. 
But let me think again. (1) I'm not a spring chicken myself. (2) even at my age I can sleep anywhere anytime and (3) It's not that many more years until I'll be 80 myself. (of course, I was kinda hoping I'd be in the NS by then)
So....not giggling anymore.  Nope.  I can see too much of myself in the situation you wrote.

Our CO is visiting this week, too! 
An elder called yesterday and wants me to give the RV instead of being the householder--on the week of the CO's visit.
