What a nice privilege Br. Florent.  I recently have had several studies with a man that wants to become an effective preacher !  I shared several videos with him, and mentioned that we have the BE publication and program during the week to do just just that. He is a deacon and lives in front of his congregation. He hasn't made it to the CL &M meeting yet, but he did make it one Sunday.

Let us know how he progresses.   :sunshine:

I think you'll be fine, Florent!  Doesn't Jehovah supply us with what we need when we think we are inadequate, especially since you are putting yourself in his hands and helping others? Ne t'inquiete pas :)

      Past monday. It is done.

I made a mistake at the very beginning, but still it was understandable.

And I did let it disturb me for the rest of the prayer.

      This was somewhere in France...

Done on Monday. I was thinking, it would be interesting to pray for a brother regarding saying a prayer. I do anyway, when sense a real nervousness in the brother praying. But , what a challenge. You, sir, have my respect and admiration. Today's text...

I belonged to a foreign language group and we appreciate it more than you know when the brothers and sisters make this effort and have a self sacrificing spirit to preach in a foreign language. So you can be assured, we just appreciate you and do not dwell on minor mistake!

Exciting. Travel safe, and enjoy for us, presently earth bound ones!

  5. Let's keep on the watch, we know how much the number 70 is related to Bible prophecies just kidding
  6. I agree with this point, because there is no problem with fiction. The point I want to emphasize is that if the source is demonic, as it is alleged there, could it be good for us, regardless its content?
  7. Even though it seems the revision is made by a brother, as it is said here, the forward of the book is quite clear on the information source for the writer of the manuscript... So could we say that this is OK to read it?
  8. New congregation for me: an arabic one Then try to serve more in the LDC 2 missionary trips in south america (peru and ecuador).

This is a chart I have made in order to assist me for my personal Bible Study (this is in french). It gives the chronology from Saul to the last prophet of the Hebrew Scriptures, namely Malaki. Regarding the colors : - The kings are blue, red, or white. Blue means good kings Red means bad kings White is a period of unfaithfulness due to a sin or a condemnation from Jehovah - The prophets are green, orange, gold or silver. Green means prophets that didn't write a book with their own message (example : Oded, Elijah, and so on) Orange means prophets in Israel that did write a book bearing their name (Amos, Hoshea) Gold means prophets in Judah that did write a book bearing their name Silver means prophets in captivity (Daniel, Ezekiel) - The great characters after the exile to Babylon are in blue - The high priests are in purple - The kings of other empires are in grey (Assyria, Babylon, etc) - The main events regarding the kingdom are in black (-997 split of the kingdom, -740 assyria takes Israel, -732 assyria circles jerusalem, -607 destruction of Jerusalem, -537 the people restores the capital city). I hope it will help you. Do not hesitate to ask questions or to tell me if there is something wrong.
