My current return visit situation as of last weekend.  This is by far a record for the farthest I have to drive to get to these rv's.  Talk about pioneer hours!  And 2 out of 3 of these rv's are talkers that will keep you for over an hour if you let them.  Anyone else has such extreme distances to travel?  

Just finished the 3rd day of the convention.  Did it take away my severe depression? No.  But it did calm me down, I felt it calm me down.  

May we live each day as if…

Being white I haven’t had to deal with as much racism as many minorities, but whenever it happens, it does hurt... While in Sweden I could kind of say something, now working as a temp CSR I don’t have much leverage. “Can I talk to someone in the United States?” is even worse than the occasional “Oh, I’ll call you back” after hearing my voice (accent). Little old racist ladies all of them

Yesterday was our 61st wedding aniversary. We were not planning anything big. A couple in our congregation had told us they were bringing dinner. Our daughters wanted to have a little Zoom get together.
What a surprise, all our active family members (13) were zoomed in including our niece who joined us from somewhere in China (15 hour and 1 day difference in time.) It turned out the dinner was coordinated by Leslie and Jerri through the local family. The get together lasted an hour when Leslie said "Your dinner is here so we will say goodbye." At that moment the doorbell rang and we were presented with prime rib for two and a bottle of fine wine.
Glad we could keep it small.

Sisters, I don’t know about you, but, I’m 76 and have nice heels for the meetings. I put on a pair the other day, and, I don’t know. My days of heels may just be gone. I’ve been sort of careful, because I knew I was pushing it anyway. 
If this is so, it will be a whole new world for me, when and if, we get back to the hall. 
In the meantime, um, shhhh. Barefoot is just wonderful. At the hall, if I could, I’d be barefoot. (I do have shoes right next to me. For the meeting. But...) 
There’s a gal, Rihanna Geddings, a singer. She was on stage, “dressed to the nines”, and,  barefoot. My kind of dressing up. Country and western singer, and, sort of blues. 
Barefoot Indians. My good friend said something derogatory about such. That is fine. If I have a choice, it will always be barefoot! 

Thank you. Brother Lynn! You got me thinking of what had happened six years ago. Yes, I thought "THAT was a good idea", when  it really was not. And since then I have to eat my own candies. I should say they are pretty bitter.... Yes, I was wrong.

I went to the supermarket, and saw shelfs full of toilet paper ...Peace and security coming? LOL

My spiritual goal this last weeks is about reading all the story of our faithful brother and sisters in our literature. Now doing the 1950-1985 stories. So moving... For examples, articles written more than 60 years ago. Our friends that are now in Heaven or in Jehovah's memory. Best life ever

I’ve had a rude awakening. Pain. My back. I’m hoping it’s not permanent. The constant pain puts me aside. Sort of pre-occupied. That being said, I know there are ones out there that have no choice but to deal with this particular thorn. 
I shall remember you in my prayers. 
Nothing like getting slapped along side the head to develop empathy! 

Being the only one that believes in God at work and everyone else believing in evolution is tough and interesting at the same time. I discuss this almost every day with one that seems very interested in the bible. And he was shocked when I showed him the truth about the cross used in Christianity and the history of the bible. This has really made me reflect a lot and do a lot of research. I'm really happy to be in the truth and just have a meaning in my life. I told him that he could join me in the kingdom hall to see.
 
And it's not that they make fun of me, it's more that they're curious and they ask me a lot of questions and arguments. And in return, I ask them (I try at least) thought-provoking questions that make them think a little. To my surprise, it seems like most of them haven't really cared enough to think about the purpose of life. They're just "existing" and going with the flow. Another one said that he doesn't know and shrugged his hands. He told me that as long as he is good to others and live a good life as a human being, that's enough. 
 
Just something I wanted to share with you all. Maybe you're in a similar situation as myself. I think it's important to talk about it and defend false claims, but not in an aggressive way. 

Sunday they start the baptism questions... My bible teacher said it may be open book, she doesn't know. Like... I know a general idea of the scriptures. But I'm terrible at remembering the numbers of them. 😶

Doing research on fruitage of the spirit...I think I've allowed the world's negativity to rub off on me.. I feel like my defenses are always on guard, and my mind tends to focus on the negative possibilities...sigh...
