  1. Is there a way to print all my saved notes from pesonal study?
  2. Personally, I gave the growing a beard thought about 1 minute of my ponderings ... then 1 Cor. 10:23 came to my mind, and I got on with my day. To each his own, but the analysis of would it look good, might it be faddish, is it too long... or maybe too short is a distraction I don’t need right now.
  3. Many (if not all) of the Talk Coordinators in my circuit and exchange group, don’t understand how to make the requesting and accepting work seamlessly. It seems some requests fail to show on the requested congregations end and also some accepting or denying fails to show on the other end. There must me some way to make this wonderful function work better for all involved. Do you understand the Public Speaker Sharing feature? Would you be willing to teach a short workshop on Zoom to assist and answer questions other brothers might have with the program? I was thinking Zoom may be a great way for some to quickly get up to speed on sharing and make better use of our valuable time. If you would be willing to share your knowledge, or are eager to learn, please send me a pr private message and I will make an effort to put something together for us.
  4. Agreed! One place … simple and logical. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. That’s because being an attendant is a duty and not an assignment. [emoji41] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  6. My congregation woud like to allow the friends to sign up for hospitality (not assign Groups). I read the earlier thread from June 2023 and it appears I have the boxes properly marked. On the app it now shows Hospitality 'Not Available'. I want them to be able to sign up. Cnn someone give me insight?
  7. Our congregation really needs to improve the desk we use for Audio/Video. I have asked our LDC Trainer for suggestion without anything more than, 'whatever works best for you brothers'. Does anyone have pictures of what they have and love. Or better yet a link showing where you found yours ... or even specs so we can get one built?
  8. I am confused … I loaded the GitHub app and signed up and logged in. Now how do I get the files you offered to share. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  9. TAKE MY MONEY! We have used the scheduler for almost a year. It is now time to renew the registration. I have been trying for 4 days. I have tried 3 differant computers, cleared my cache and cookies, reset my router, rebooted my system ... basically, everything I can think of. Each time I input and click to PAY, I get the same message: We are unable to complete your request at this time. Please try again. Any ideas?
  10. Disappearing Speakers I have an issue where some congregations speaker fro Public Talks disappear. The schedule talk remains, but the speaker assigned is suddenly gone. Any ideas how to resolve? Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  11. After I loaded the latest update about 5 or 6 congregations vanished. I still shows dates of Public Talks scheduled but the speaker and congregation are missing. Any ideas?
  12. I believe if you have nothing scheduled in Garden Care it won’t show on the App. Once you schedule it will then be on the App for all to see. Maybe? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  13. Where? I don’t see it. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  14. Thank you!. The only issue remaining is that I cannot seem to find a way to add a tag to pull in the speakers talk title and the date of his talk. It seems like the reminder should have these key details.
  15. I am new to JW Scheduler (from KHS). KHS has a simple 'click' to email a reminder to the upcoming Public Talk Speaker. I have spent a few hours on JWS testing the reminders and modifying the templates and cannot find a easy way to just remind the speakers. For years I have dones this every Sunday and it has worked very well. Can this JWS program autofill the speaker, date, talk information to email?
  16. We have a sister in our congregation that has a mother on hospice. She’s not able to attend our Sunday meeting at 10:00 am PST. If we could find her an English meeting a at least 4 hours later, she would to attend. if this is something you can help make happen please DM me. Thanks!! Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  17. I keep hearing this comment from those who have decided not to take the vaccination. My first thought is: Was the severe reaction death … because that’s one major effect of COVID. Was the severe reaction infecting a loved one … because having COVID does that as well. It’s tough for me to follow the ‘I personally know someone’ method of reasoning on the matter. Let me illustrate why: - I personally know people who have died in a vehicle accident … have I decided not to drive a vehicle? - I personally know people who had a terrible marriage … have I decided never to marry? - I personally know someone who went in for a minor dental procedure and something happened and as a result he died. Have I decided never to have dental work? Do you get the point? Severe adverse reaction can occur in many scenarios because we have imperfection and so many challenges.
  18. Please don’t wait. I don’t mind finding surprises or updates here. The sooner i know the sooner i will run to watch it. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  19. so … are we told NOT to have the breakout rooms on convention Sundays? Or is that up to local congregations to determine? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  20. Maybe it was to build the confidence level and assure those hesitant that while the vaccine has pros and cons, it’s okay to simple accept it an move on. Just a thought to consider. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  21. oh .. ok. I noticed we were going off track … I probably shouldn’t have jumped the train! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  22. Murder, of course, would be a violation of Jehovahs law and the vaccinate is not murder. In fact, one might argue it’s more an opposite of murder. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  23. I understand what you are saying. Someone asked one of our ‘non-vax’ friends if she thought she knew more about this issue than the GB or if felt she had more respect for life than 98% of the US Bethel. Needless to say, she was pretty upset. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  24. Thanks! I just watched the update. Likely many countries where Branch facilites exist dint yet have the vaccine available. 98% in the US Bethel is huge. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  25. Have i missed something? Is there an assumption that high numbers of Bethelites are choosing to not be vaccinated? I really doubt the unvaccinated there would be incredibly small. The Branch has very clear what’s expected on our part … personal decision yes … but if we have our perceptive powers tuned in I sense a clear expectation. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
