A 36 year old ELDER, with a seriously rock solid theo family background, beautiful wife, happy marriage, new home, trips around the world, very active in every way,... just took his own life and no one understands why.  There were no red flags, no known depression, no clues.  We are related.  I'm used to feeling sorry for myself, having a sub-standard life with non-believers BUT, in terms of pain, what pain could ever compare to this scenario??  A brother commented tonight "We may see more of this..." A reference to the times we live in.  It is terrifying to watch  a "stable" one fall.  May Jehovah help us all.  PLEASE, pray for our elders, we need them, each and every one of them.

I must stop falling asleep with my finger on my phone...  you never know what may happen!!!

I tripped earlier today while trying to prevent the dog from running into the yard to escape a bath. Hit my head on the kitchen table and got a very deep cut right through my eyebrow. Four stitches and it is still oozing blood.

Did it! I’m here, in Sacramento for the convention! Had to take a round about way to get here, (because of the fires, and closed highways) but it was a good drive, and I’m so thankful to be here...Tomorrow’s the day! 

I’ve been seriously ill for close to three months and I haven’t had a single brother or sister from the congregation give a call, text or anything. I feel at my lowest right now.

Working on photobook for my mum, lots of organizing, selecting etc..goodbye Saturday! Although Momento software is great!

And the saga continues.  Husband lost his job today because he took too many days off to assist me.  

Back to work today for me.  Very sore, I can see I'm going to have to pick up the last of my pain medication prescription. 

One of our bunnies will probably die tonight

Feeling relieved my first talk in the midweek meeting went well. Thanks to Jehovah and also the guidance and encouragement I received on JWTALK the congregation benefitted from it.  This was what I really wanted to achieve.
 

I was just reviewing my statuses from times past.  I laughed my head off when I found one near my baptism, about putting on the new personality and about how I was too fat to fit into it, and it was stuck around the knees..... it's now about waist high and I can't seem to get it past the hip area... anyone have any butter?

Stunned, but SO happy.  The tumor is not IN the heart, its next to the lung and while they will still need to remove it, and may need to section a bit of my lung off - its NOT open heart surgery.  THANK YOU JEHOVAH!
 

My son was attacked by a young man, not right in his head. He damaged his truck, but not him. But he said he was coming back to get them. He’s an individual who needs locked up, indefinitely. (Sex crime against a three year old) But, he was just released from some sort of incarceration. My daughter in law...well, this is all just incredible. They are not in the truth. Yet. Wonder if they will see it as a wake up call. At any rate, it is horrible. We know it’s out there, but when it gets so close to home...

I went to the cardiologist today. He’s had all the proper testing done. Today was diagnosis time. Found a small hole in my heart, plus a murmur. However...for my age he gave me a clean bill of health, heart wise! He was impressed with my taking serrapeptase, (thank you, Vernalee!) Plus, he wants me to start taking flaxseed oil! It was a load being removed from me. And, I’m thankful to Jehovah!

And the blessings keep coming! 
Yesterday I wasn't able to attend the meeting because of the old body acting up. So I hooked up on the telephone line though I managed to miss the public talk still because of falling asleep, but I was able to get at least half of the WA study. 
Soo, today I was still feeling out of it but it was like Jehovah said "Get up, I got you" because the next I knew a sister calls me, and the next I knew I'm downtown in service with her! (It helped with her saying she baked carrot cake and she has a piece for me, lol).
But last night my oldest son texted me and told me that this past Wednesday night he represented his congregation in prayer, and read the paragraphs! So now, I have one son giving the public talk in my congregation Dec. 10, 2017, and another son offering the prayer in his congregation plus read the paragraphs at his congregation book study! 
Yes, the blessings keep coming! When Jehovah blesses us, he's not stingy!! 
So my loving friends, DON'T GIVE UP! Oh no, we're not serving our generous God for the blessings, but when he does, he definitely does! 

Went in service without an arrangement, and my wife's partner cancelled, so we had a very fruitful ministry today. 3 magazines, one tract, two return calls and a number of interesting calls, all that in only one and a half hours. Thanks, Jehovah!

This afternoon was a recent installment of Pauline's-ongoing-pizza-party. The last two  times have been more 'game days' than our previous karaoke and line dance events. I'm pretty much ready for everything with karaoke machine and music available; CDs and CD &G's and wifi availabilty.. Today had some surprises for me. One: a family brought with them a young teenager that used to be in our cong. Right now his mother and older brother are incarcerated and I have been writing to them. .... Two: My non believer husb, who helps with the prep stayed for most of the gathering and had a really good time. He also got skunked at chess. Three: my middle son, who has been studying in another place  stayed for the whole shindig. He worked his brains out with set up and clean up and played  some card games with the young folks.  He said he really had a good time and plans to cover the Watchtower in the AM with his father and I. 

Out in service with an elder today. We were discussing our new changes. He said a letter was to be read tomorrow at the meeting. More changes for our ministry. Exciting times, friends! 

It just dawned on me, that Crystal and I have been tobacco FREE for 17 years now. We quit on October 7th, 2000 motivated by our study of God's Word.
 
 

I have, in addition to everything else as if I need this too, peripheral neuropathy. And last night was one of those bad nights. Even just getting in and out of bed is torture! The sheets, and blankets hurts, even pantyhose though there's one I wear that's not too bad compared to the ones I used to wear. 
So now with the diastolic heart failure, cardiomyopathy, lung blood clot, osteoporosis, osteoarthritis,  rheumatoid, growth in the head (calcium deposit), cysts in uterus and ovaries, and a parathyroid,  bipolar depression, it's a wonder I'm still alive and kicking! 
Last night though I did get angry with it all. 
Oh if it wasn't for Jehovah and his promises....y'all fill in the rest.

Last night was a rough night, continual chest pain between 230 and 330 am.  Thankfully I was up and used as much nitro as I could to settle it down.  

Early morning service, pioneer meeting and service again tomorrow.  I walked to our mailbox and back today, 2.8 km.  Didn't feel too fatigued.

Slow walking is good for the health. I don't feel so fatigued today, so I'm going out in service since its our CO visit.

Kind of thinking I overdid it in the ministry, feel very nauseated now.

Had my Circuit Assembly yesterday, I feel almost like a brand new person! Yep, seeing things differently, feeling differently, a whole new outlook! 
I mean, it's the same old me, but not at the same time. No, I'm not climbing walls, etc lol, but everything's gonna be alright! 
That's what going to the assemblies, conventions does for you. It helps you to move on. Jehovah's spirit really is the most powerful force there is and always will be! 
Oh and on the way yesterday I forgot my lunch as in left it home, didn't realize it until I'm walking to the bus. 
But Jehovah took care of that too. I'm sharing that with another sister, and guess what? Yep you got it! A sister sitting next to me heard, shared her salad, and a piece of chocolate too! 
Then afterwards I went to a gathering my son's mother-in-law was giving, and wanted me to come. Had a ball!!
No one better not say my God is not the true God! At least not in my face.
