Friends, I am looking for cute poems about children. Today in particular I am searching for a humorous poem about young girl trying to apply lipstick for the first time (5 year old girl found the mirror and lipsticks LOL 🤣) I am doing a project - photobook where each photo(s) will be accompanied by humorous description. ☺️

I just realized that with 5432 members on this forum that equals to roughly 54 congregations based on 100 publishers per cong (on average) Wow! that's big!

The New Zealand Government has this morning declared a National State of Emergency, to assist in the response to Cyclone Gabrielle. (Hope our friends in NZ are ok)
-
I am in the lower North Island so not directly affected other than the dog only going for a short walk this morning as she does not like the rain.
-
Yes to clarify even though it's a national emergency ... only certain regions are under the declaration. South Island so far is in the clear, lower North Islland is on a watch but as I type no declaration. Last region to be declared is Tararua.

Friends, How to convert exFat 64GB USB - to FAT32? thank you

Yes, I followed the steps exactly, my USB is brand new 2022 version Samsung iFit64GB
update edited: my bad, did not change to non bootable, now I just did that and it is converting …. Wow! Hope it works after that, but it seems to be going into the right direction
-
Hmm. That doesn't make sense. It may need to be switched from MBR to GPT. Regardless, as mentioned above in the link by Richard, FAT32 Format is an older program that I used to use as well and should work. http://ridgecrop.co.uk/index.htm?guiformat.htm
I accidentally deleted my previous post because it was showing up twice, but after doing so I refreshed and both were gone. Curious now why you need a FAT32 drive. 🐈 -
I need Fat32 to play music, talks in my work car, which does not support anything else apart from Fat32.
Thanks to your advice all is working perfectly, tested this morning and it WORKS!
Big hugs for that ....
(Yes, I could use other USB's but I like the "invisible" size of this particular one.
Once inserted you don't notice is there. - love it)

Anyone here driving Honda CR-V Black Edition (2021-22)
I have couple of questions, thanks
-
IDK if this helps, but my 2015 CRV get 30-34 mpg with Exxon gas - a few times I have used Shell gas. I am very rural - dirty, dusty roads but even in service, stop/start, I get at least 30 mpg. I use the cruise control all the time on the highway and I know that helps. But I will tell you I, and a few other JWs here, are having A/C problems. (we have had temps in the 100s and that is not usual for Louisiana all the time) I googled the problem after the 3rd visit to local Honda dealer and found out the following:
--Does Honda CRV have air conditioning problems?Even with the high number of sales, the CRV is not free from defects. In fact, the Honda CRV has a problem with its climate control system. CRV owners have reported their AC not working or the heater not working properly. Regardless of the defects, your Honda CRV may qualify you for relief under the lemon law.Jan 27, 2022Why is my Honda CRV AC not cooling? How much does it cost to fix AC in Honda CRV?On average, the cost for a Honda CR-V Car AC Repair is $249 with $116 for parts and $133 for labor. Prices may vary depending on your location.
...........................
Of course my dealer wants to charge $2200+ to fix the problem. For the third time they have put in Freon and a dye and I can tolerate it for now (they can't seem to find the problem) - course come Sept 1 and return to service there may be a problem. Anyway, I love my CRV and for me the fuel efficiency is no problem. Hope it works out for you.

Oh, great, our first Metro Cart restarted, first location is next to a donut place …I really don’t know how to react to it LOL 🤣

91% of population in Victoria have been vaccinated with first dose, reaching 80% with second dose this Friday. The state is fast becoming one of the most vaccinated places in the world.
-
Melbourne it's ending the longest lockdown in the world this Friday! We are 70% fully vaccinated and soon reaching 80% when more restrictions will be lifted (like travel in the country) Covid-19 cases are still very high, so it will be interesting to see what happens next. Can't wait to get out from Melbourne and visit some rainforests...

Photography is a very brain influenced activity. From the decisions you make that go into creating your images, to the emotional response your photos can invoke, great imagery begins and ends in the mind, and it utilizes both left and right brain components.

Thank you all, for being so encouraging here on jw.talk, during constant yo-yo lockdowns this site proved to be a "gift" .While millions are in lockdowns etc, we not only have our meetings, but also this wonderful community to lean upon. Thank you all again.

https://www.nia.nih.gov/news/social-isolation-loneliness-older-people-pose-health-risks
“The misery and suffering caused by chronic loneliness are very real and warrant attention. As a social species, we are accountable to help our lonely children, parents, neighbors, and even strangers in the same way we would treat ourselves. Treating loneliness is our collective responsibility.”
My 85 year old sister-in-law suffers from dementia. It is very difficult to get a maid from Indonesia because of the closed borders. She is finally going to get the 2 shot vaccination with a view to sending her to a care home, a prospect that may affect her well being, possibly shortening her life. Her 2 single daughters are obviously devastated but not her married son who has an eye on her large bungalow which has been willed to him.
