Shawn, you do design work? nice - I have no talent, despite my Father's natural talent as a painter.

  2. Woke up to a gentle Cafe Bosa Jazz music, getting ready to attend 2 witnessing groups today - loving serving Jehovah and be with friends who feel the same....It's going to be a wonderful day!

And where has this music been all my life??? Stunning. Totally my style. Will be listening as I read my book at night. Thanks so much for this Greg.

Oh BTW, have you heard of Gregory Porter, sings a song called Revival. His style is what I like when working outside.

Thank you - will check Gregory Porter for sure

I am happy you like Cafe Bossa Jazz, it's my "happy morning wake up music for long time - there is something relaxing about it"

I would like to get more recommendations of Cafe Bossa like performers,  if you come across something nice.

I just saw the comprehensive lockdown list from Victoria.  Some notables:

      8:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. curfew

      No visiting family or friends

1 hour limit to outdoor exercise daily

Mandatory stay of 5km radius from home

Work from home or without a job for 6 weeks

1 million workers sent home under stringent new lockdowns

Local police will be out to enforce the law.

Imo, I get the feeling that these laws/policies will spread further into many other regions in the world.

My business (essential services) is exempt from restrictions , but I will be operating at 60% capacity, I have to close 40% of other arm of my business.

No relaxing for me ... and silly me was hoping for that 6 week long holiday.... LOL :facepalmpo2:

My son and his wife have been under mandatory in house quarantine  since the end of march.  Only those who had pets were permitted to even go outside for 15 minutes,  twice a day.  He and his wife have no pets so had to stay in.  The fine for leaving the house without pre approved reason is a month's salary.  Its been a challenge for him and the other brothers to keep in touch with everyone in their service groups as some do not have phones or  internet.  They are only permitted to leave the house once every 2 weeks to go straight to the store, pharmacy,  or wherever it was pre approved.   And either only him or his wife.   They can not go together.   Recently they relaxed the restrictions a little, permitting ones to go outside in their own yards between 5am to 7am only.  Here it's July and they are still enduring the in house quarantine with Jehovah's help.  Something that helps them view to their situation in a more positive light is reflecting  on what the brothers/sisters are having to endure in Russia and other places, the torture some of them have had to endure, the imprisonments, the harshness of their situation, etc.  When they consider what those dear brothers and sisters are enduring  and  have been for quite some time now, they see their personal situation as doable.  And as the governing  body has reminded us, what we are facing now is training us for the GT.  Hopefully this helps you a little.

Victoria records 77 new coronavirus cases as police enforce lockdown covering 300,000 people.

Stay-at-home orders have been reintroduced for 10 postcodes in Melbourne's inner north and west from Thursday until at least July 29, after a 15th consecutive day of double-digit case increases in the state.

We now have gone from none to five cases in about 2 weeks .. ONLY way to eliminate it from NZ is to close borders with even Australia - the one concerning case is of two sisters from UK who were let out of quarantine early and not even tested - they turned positive ... and allowed to travel among public.  I can restrictions being reinstated soon here too -  Jacinda wants to be re-elected ... will hurt her chances if there is a continued rise of cases ... that being said ... locking NZ down again may not work well the second time either. Everyone is in trouble - no country is exempt from at least the flow on effects.

      Katty

True, I mean there is a strong positive side to it, but in this system, it can go both ways unfortunately. Imagination is like the internet: it's not inherently good or bad, but depends on the user uses it. For me my imagination, has been a source, both, of great comfort as well as great anxiety. It's difficult to shake an anxiety from your mind when you can see and hear an event unfold in your mind, but it's difficult to not have faith when you see and hear a hope unfold in your mind as well.

We are as safe as possible because we are in lockdown and cannot leave home (for two weeks already).

Besides, we have both been sick and it's very likely that it was covid19, so we should be immune now. But we are not going to take any risks anyway. :)

Winrar. It's not free, but the trial never actually runs out because they coded it wrong. If you don't want to keep it though, the trial should still do what you want it to do for the time you have it.

I am saddened that people are still using winzip or winrar. Even Windows 7 had native zip compression/decompression. If 7-zip is reporting files missing, then it's probably the fault of the program that made them. You're not going to find anything better than 7z on Ninite or Chocolatey or FOSS, etc. https://ninite.com/ https://chocolatey.org/search?q=zip&moderatorQueue=&moderationStatus=all-statuses&prerelease=false&sortOrder=package-download-count https://www.fosshub.com/File-Archivers.html https://www.fosshub.com/File-Extractors.html

Doesn't surprise me ... much of the NZ firefighting force have been or still are over there.

We have friends who are trapped in a coastal resort - (Not sure of their update at the mo) ... all major roads are shut and have been told that if the fire comes close they have to head down to the beach - (Like so many others already been reported on).

    4. Miss Bea

      Miss Bea

This is awful. We have been through the smoke of forest fires, but nothing comparable to what is going on in Australia. My fear is that Facial masks are not being used. That smoke you inhale is doing damage to your lungs.
I’m pretty healthy. One year I did not wear a mask. In the summer time, I got pneumonia. And, I could not get rid of it. Never had it before in my life. If I went to the meeting, the next day, I was, “dirty -dog sick”. I’m in my 70’s, and figured I would die of pneumonia when winter came.
Long story short. The clinic could not help me. I’d taken a round of anti-biopics, and, now it was up to my system.
Oil of oregano got rid of it for me, in, like two days. I got my lungs back.
Now, smoke of any sort almost takes my breathe away, and, I have coughing fits I cannot get rid of.
We have to keep an air purifier upstairs year around, because even the smoke that gets out of the stove when you put wood in it, I cannot take.
I take care of myself as best I can, but, breathing in that smoke, well, if you are frail, I think it would kill you. If you are not particularly frail, you will have to deal with it the rest of your days in this system. Like me.
Words cannot express how sorry I am for what is happening in Australia.
      Come Jehovah’s Kingdom, come!
