I understand the President is set to talk to the firefighters, today if memory serves. So much land Federally owned. Would like to see more in public hands. Same is true in Oregon and Washington. Forest management, reforestation and harvesting would go a long way to alleviating the issue.

We, as humans, if given a choice would live by the sea, a forest, etc. We have a love for what Jehovah has given. Trouble is, there are dangers here. Fire or water. Just the way it is. We live rural. And, we try to remember as wildlife aggriviates us, they were here first. There is no balance today. Only Jehovah’s Kingdom can give us that balance.

I’m Indian. In times past, the area we lived was burned on a regular basis. Those times are gone. We can be upset, or just do the best we can, under the circumstances. It is beyond our control. 

Right now, cold, dry days. It was 36 degrees when I went out in service Wednesday. Frosty, but so dry, no frost. Just cold. We are looking at drought conditions. I’ve never seen it be cold, and so dry, no frost was formed. It was the same at the assembly. Dry, and not a speck of dew on the windows. Like summer. In November.

I bought my Tom a TomTom (go figure) and it sticks on the windscreen very well ... it's quite sturdy. 

Windshield mounts are illegal in states like California. Dash mounts tend to be oversize and don't hold tight to most finishes on the cowl. 

I solved it by cutting down and throwing away most of the articulated arm. I used JB Weld to fix the pieces to the angle I wanted. My GPS sit a 1/4 inch above the base. I used the original suction cup, but bought a stick, non-stickpad. It looks like this one and works very well:

How old is it? The battery life diminishes over time, and all the faster if you have a habit of leaving it on the charger when it's at 100% - at least so I've heard.

Its only 13 months old... I have reset everything .. reduced footprint ..we'll see how I go... thanks for all suggestions!

Lucy .. where to start? Ok ..major reasons. Samsung  9plus has better screen ..clarity, crispness, brightness. 

Better camera ... I really like it ( for a phone at least) 

You can expand memory via micro card 

Easy to transfer files.. videos, music ..etc 

Better quality speakers .. they sound very nice. 

From now on I will stay away from iPhone.

My wife has iPhone 8 Plus and acknowledges advantages of Samsung 9 plus. 

Samsung... super slow videos option .. again better then iPhone ...

Once upon a time, I tried to change my profile picture to something that looked a little more human. But one of the sisters on the forum (who has a picture of a little dog as her profile picture) complained about it and wanted the sheep back! So I finally decided to concede to her wishes. (The things I do for a cute puppy.)
