I wonder if 2022 will be the year that we’ll look back to hundreds of years later with a funny smile, getting all nostalgic and say
’oh yeah, those were the days’.

My husband had a knee replacement Monday. So, he’s watching tv news a lot. I have decided to make it so it just doesn’t weigh too heavily on my heart. 
These individuals, engaged in this. I’ve made up my mind they are playing into Jehovah’s hands by what is going on. It will become evident soon. And Jehovah will start the healing process for all of us. 
Knee replacement, plus the tribe is doing a rehab on our house. It’s wonderful. Work Sid will not have to do, and the price is right. No cost. 
Plus Sid is the one who takes care of our road. He phoned the tribe, and they got busy on it. Sid maintains the water bars. So the road doesn’t rut out. 
I’ve gotten so much support from the congregation. I know the prayers are plentiful, or, perhaps I’d be standing, face first in a corner, wondering what just happened. Instead, I’m okay. More then okay. 
The stress of the knee replacement will soon be gone. The guys working on the house will be gone, and our home will be more or less finished. 
Then I figure the serious, “peace and security,” will happen, and the great tribulation will start. 
And then, our dear friends experiencing the KON situation, will be where they should be. Yes, safe and secure, and best of all by Jehovah’s standards.
We are such a blessed  group. We have hope for ourselves, and over 8 million getting a permanent respite! 

Finally a Bible study! Tomorrow attending meeting and we will be having cameras off as we are stuck in bed with COVID. 
I was really in bad shape yesterday, but improved today. Hope the BS a makes a progress. 

"I will lie down and sleep; And I will wake up in safety, For Jehovah continues to support me" (Psalm 3:5)
 
King David recorded these words as he ran away from his own son who wanted to kill him. At night, when the likelihood of an attack was especially high, David was not afraid to go to sleep. Why was he so calm? God had saved David many times since he was a boy, so he trusted him and was sure he would not leave him. David very often told God about his worries and it helped him not to lose his courage and calmness. Today prayer also helps me to fall asleep peacefully, in spite of the frequent airborne anxieties.

I just received my first 5 minute talk assignment since February 2014. Since then I have moved state and congregation.

Just did a RAT and it came out positive for COVID.

Wow!  Our zoom meeting has been cancelled.  We had a monster snow storm, and it's caused most of the friends to not have power, so our meeting is cancelled due to lack of power.  Never seen the snow look like this here

Thoughts that can help in the fight against bad habits and addiction.

1. A parasite lives in your head. It feeds on the pieces of your brain to which you send the fulfillment of your addiction. To get rid of the parasite, there is only one way: starve it to death. If you want him to die, just stop giving him food. With hunger the parasite will rebel and get on your nerves. But you remember that it takes time for it to die, be patient and relax. Just don't feed it.

2. Pray to Jehovah regularly. You don't need to make every prayer long or in a pattern. The main thing is to remember Jehovah, that he protects you. And give thanks to him. This will develop in you a prayerful mindset and you will feel how much your friendship with Jehovah will grow. You can think of it as a pill for the parasite in your head.

3. Analyze your whole day. At what moments might you see things related to your addiction? For example, your co-workers or acquaintances may be smoking, drinking. Pornography pops up at work. Watching movies or playing games where these things are considered something normal. Remember, these are not little things! If you want Jehovah to bless you, you need to be careful, like Gideon's warriors, gulping water with their hand.

4. Remember the reward - eternal life. Indulging in addiction is like trading Jehovah's priceless gift for something empty. Like Esau did, trading the blessings from Jehovah for a bowl of chowder, for the satisfaction of hunger. The eternal for the minute. Make the right investments-not short-term ones that bring only illusions, but eternal ones that bring real joy and satisfaction.

5. Whose side do you want to be on? Bad habits are the work of Satan. It is his mockery of the image and likeness of Jehovah. The Creator has put qualities in us such as love, kindness, and wisdom. And gave us free will! But by going along with addiction, man goes against those qualities, abuses free will, and along with Satan and his supporters, laughs at Jehovah's gift. Choose who you want to be for.
