  1. Is there any way of downloading the song so that it plays the words in English on the screen like Manuel posted in Spanish? No big deal I can print off the lyrics from jw.org I have the song downloaded as normally but it doesn't have the words on the screen. Just curious, thanks.
  2. Does anyone know about virtual backrounds on zoom? I don't know much about them just that it's possible. Can you set one up without having to sign in? The brothers locally say it's best if I do not sign up and just go to join a meeting directly without doing so. Just curious if I can set up a backround without having to sign up/sign in to a personal account with zoom. Hope I'm making sense.
  3. The thing at the top of my list is to be re-united with all my lost loved ones. I listen/watch some of the videos about the new system (especially ones set to music) and imagine my family as the people in it. I'd love to be able to bake from home in my custom kitchen, and grow my own cocoa, coffee & vanilla (among other stuff as well) Would love to be able to learn how to make glass/crystal and also how wine & rum are both made. Provided Jehovah lets me of course.
  4. I have a question about zoom, hope this is the right spot to ask. They would like everyone to change their phone/device name to include a last name. Is it possible to do this in zoom only somehow without having to change it on the phone itself? So far I have not signed in or anything, according to the elders information about how to log in to the meeting, I just go to join a meeting. Any possibility that I can leave my phone name as is and change it only for zoom? Thanks.
  5. I should know how to do this, but it's gotten me a little frustrated at the moment so was hoping someone could help. I'm using an iPhone and would like to see if I can update the bible in the app so I can get the newer videos/introductions (hope I'm making sense). But I can't remember or figure out how to update it.
  6. Ok, I'm not sure which forum to chose to ask this so excuse me if it's the wrong one. I am hoping to book a cruise holiday out of New Jersey/Cape Liberty and I'll be arriving a couple days early so I have a whole day before the cruise. I was thinking how far is Bethel/Warwick? Is it too far to consider? I have never been to the area so know nothing about how far things might be and what traffic might be like. Assuming of course that having a car to get there is an absolute necessity? There's only the one day and it would be a Saturday (tours on Saturdays?). Of course, all this might not happen, I'm just in the planning stages but would love to visit Bethel if I was in the area.
  7. Not incredibly gifted when it comes to technology although I seem to muddle through ok. I was wondering if it's possible to go on my iPhone through safari and download the choral renditions from Sing Joyfully to Jehovah directly from there, instead of downloading to iTunes and then attaching my phone through a usb? Using an iPhone 6 plus. I know I can download it to the app, but I would like to have a playlist in my iTunes library on my phone.
  8. Still doing my shopping around to see whats best. I've come across an android box, does anyone know if you can get the Broadcasting App on one of those?
  9. The tv has 3 hdmi ports with 2 spare not used yet.
  10. In order for my parents to watch a few videos like the assembly which they cant' always attend it's downloaded onto a usb/flash drive (they have no computer) My parents tv (a smart tv) doesn't have a usb port so to make this a lot easier, I was thinking if I got a roku then I think some of them have a usb port. They would also be able to watch the broadcast on the tv through the downloadable app on the device? Am I right in this? I have an apple tv (3rd generation) , which is great for me, but it has no usb port so it wouldn't help. I don't know much about roku so I was hoping someone here might be able to confirm if I'm right before I head out and get one.
  11. Not that I'm excited or anything, but roughly when should I expect to see the original song listed under audio or video in the app?
  12. I really really love that song. Excitedly waiting for it to be available on the app like the other original songs.
  13. Butter is the first thing I spread on anything I'd put a spread on. But whether its good for you or bad for you, I do like Nutella. If it tastes like chocolate I'll probably love it lol. I've had it slightly warmed and drizzled on a waffle which I thought was amazing.
