  1. “He (Satan) is eager to see us surrender to our trial and withdraw our support of God’s sovereignty.” Satan doesn’t want to kill us — he wants Jehovah to have to.
  2. On moving around in JWLibrary: When in KM. Any part in blue (example - song). Tap blue song number. Song comes up right hand column (or next page on phone). Then tap song number at top of column. It takes you to songbook full page. Then top left arrow back when done. Easy way to go back and forth. Works with books too. Also highlight any word. When menu bar comes up choose Topics. Can research anything and then go back to original (top left arrow)
  3. JW Library has "define" on the tab with highlights, also. But habits are hard to change![emoji16]
  4. "Continue to apply..." "Take delight" Attitude. The one thing we can control.
  5. Phantom Ship Island, Crater Lake, OR (Island hiding in the reflection)
  6. Listen to God brochure... Satan looks much nicer than I had ever pictured him. It was kind of a shock, but then I had to realize that it's his actions that are so "ugly". Really does make us realize how the outward appearance isn't a good indication of what a person is inside.
  7. "...it would be good to realize that the offender too is a victim." Sometimes we can be victims of our own stupidity, circumstances, etc. I suspect quite often that the one who has offended us might fall under those same categories. "He or she also suffers the effects of inherited imperfection. (Rom. 3:23)" Such simple words. If we meditate and apply our lives are much, much better. Won't it be wonderful when we don't suffer these "effects!"
  8. "Meditating on the consequences of pursuing selfish desires can help us to avoid them." Actions have consequences. Our actions can hurt others. How selfish am I? Just thinking these thoughts through would stop many missteps. Will we be trained?
  9. A Gift Upon the Shore, by M K Wren
  10. Imagine - John Lennon Imagine there's no heaven It's easy if you try No hell below us Above us only sky Imagine all the people Living for today Imagine there's no countries It isn't hard to do Nothing to kill or die for And no religion, too Imagine all the people Living life in peace You may say I'm a dreamer But I'm not the only one I hope someday you will join us And the world will be as one Imagine no possessions I wonder if you can No need for greed or hunger A brotherhood of man Imagine all the people Sharing all the world You, you may say I'm a dreamer But I'm not the only one I hope someday you will join us And the world will live as one.
