True. We don't want to fall into the trap of adoration. Nobody really knows what goes on in anyone's personal life except Jehovah.

Our prime concern in all this is Jehovah's name. There's a lot of speculation and hopefully it can be cleared up soon...and Jehovah's name isn't brought into reproach.

He was just a man. Was he a baptized servant of Jehovah in good standing in the congregation? I'll probably never know so I wont 'claim him' as a brother. I just dont know. Anything in the media is probably incorrect or at least a partial truth. Did his appearance bring honour to Jehovah or did he look like the world? Did his music bring praise to God? I'll keep my thoughts private. He's safe in Jehovah's memory now.

In the destruction of Jerusalem in 70 CE it was the Jewish Zealots (extremists) who triggered the Roman attack. A lot of those in Jerusalem didn't agree with their course. But it culimated in the standing of a disgusting thing in a holy place. In Jehovah's eyes Christendom is reprehensible because she claims to represent God and has misled many, but perhaps something will be the "trigger".

I follow that account on IG and they have very informative posts. Recently they put a post up about the Ice Bucket Challenge - is it for Christians? so I thought it was more so directed at JW's not others. When I have the time, I'll read the info they post, but I haven't seen any comments from apostates. There was another IG account posting JW memes and some people were really offended, it was quite dark humour - but if that's not your thing, delete delete delete. Some people would be really offended at this site, so it's up to the individual.

He is a human being remember, and Jehovah views all human life as precious. There is nothing wrong with grieving this as a tragic loss of human life, someone who just couldn't get out of the black hole, while making sure everyone around him was happy and laughing. Tragic. We have had a suicide in the congregation, something like this brings it all back...
