  1. The tragedy and the pain suffered by our brothers and sisters turned out to be a shout of praise for Jehovah and a great witness to all the public servants and to those who will watch this program on youtube. Thank you for sharing the link. I echo the sentiments, it was very comforting and encouraging.
  2. Can you help me find answer to this pls.. So here is a Bible riddle for you 🤔: I was alive (as a tree) before I was a soul As a soul I ate other souls Then I was a soul no more. What am I?
  3. Thanks sis, yes thankfully its all cleared up now. My parents are temporary residents and the tree was the last one before it all get demolished anyway. The reason I posted this photo is that geographically where my parents are, they do not suffer disaster in that degree, where healthy trees get fallem down by a storm,as they are surrounded by mountains on the east/southeast where storm come from. Nothing like that in our lifetime. But as your title says, its mind blowing. Weather is changing rapidly.😟
  4. https://www.theguardian.com/world/video/2021/dec/17/one-month-old-baby-rescued-after-typhoon-rai-hits-philippines-video Our families in the Philippines had a very rough 24 hours. Maximum wind gust of 213km/h and maximum sustained winds of 176km/h from typhoon Rai just pummelled them through the night. Hardly had any sleep at all, with threats of roofs flying and windows/doors breaking, my parents woke up to this. Their 50+ meters fruit bearing Mango Tree just fell, thankfully not toward my parent's house, but towards the road outside.😥 ps: The wire you can see across is a live electrical wire from fallen posts damaged by the tree.
  5. I had the pinscher delta in october and it was the worst thing I had ever experienced.😰 My husband developed diabetes post covid too. I work in the pharmacy and Im hearing a lot of people suffering all sorts of side effects from having had covid. It may be too early to tell but certainly some life changing effects I see and hear, hence never going to let my guard down while the virus' still around.
  6. Judah married a lovely sister named Amber, they didnt have children. Both are working hard serving and doing great work in Jehovah's org. A few years ago they briefly joined our congregation here in England. They then moved on to live in Hongkong. I don't have any more information after that.
  7. Sister Anne, thanks for your suggestion.💕 I will def pinch some of those sample messages. Unfortunately, my family and I as well as many relatives and friends won't be able to make it to the wedding, thankfully there is zoom.
  8. Hello everyone, My brother is getting married next week. We were asked to make a 1-2 minute best wishes video each family. Any ideas on what to say. Haven't done it before! Cant get past congratulations at the moment!🤣
  9. As this Corona Virus grip the world, I wonder how others are doing. I am worried about a friend who is a sister that work as a nurse at our local hospital. 🤥 The hospital trust converted ordinary wards into covid emergency wards, they are forced to go through extra training to be of more efficient in emergency care, such as how to transfuse blood etc. She is not happy. She does not want to transfuse blood to patients. I feel her stress. She feels a lot of pressure. I wonder how our brothers and sisters are doing who works in healthcare sector around the world?😳
  10. Thanks for the info brother. I just want to thank all at the first aid department. My mother became so unwell on friday afternoon with coughing fit and raised blood pressure. The doctors and nurses looked after her so well that she was able to carry on and finish the whole 3 day convention. The love and care was unbeatable! Thanks for all your effort. Our friends said the hospitality and love of Filipino brothers were as hot as Manila weather!🤗
  11. Thanks for your input. I of course has English as second language and from the far east we use them there interchangeably, until a brother here in the far west corrected me. 😉
