    Books that you enjoy!

I like Nadine Gordimer titles, all of them; she describes the South African experience well.
  2. I just wish that beer was not responsible for my pot belly.
  3. Here we turn water into salt ( not wine)😂!!!!am I out of order?
  4. Middle pic, tall brother with tucked sleeve, is Trent from Atlanta ( came to our congregation to help): went back to the US last month. I am nowhere near that camera,
  5. Undergoing spiritual refinement…..praising God without the influence of Babylon the great; what a wonderful privilege!!!
  6. The Mother City ( Cape Town as it is known) is notorious for it’s unpredictable weather, and at times it really can seem to have four seasons in one day. Like Murphy’s Law; you’ll leave your house with your warmest coat on, on a cold day, and a few hours later you’ll be ripping it off and wishing you’d worn shorts - it’s even worse if you’re dressed for summer and suddenly winter decides to arrive.
  7. Still basking in the afterglow of our circuit assembly.....so much spiritual gems unearthed; and timely reminders........was so amazed of how the time ran ( as we would say it in Xhosa)....felt so much like an appetizer....albeit a very leaving me wanting for more!.. .Thoroughly enjoyed every aspect of it.

  9. Just remember that when experiencing grief; Be like the sister who likened herself to a child's crayon- even the broken ones are still useful for coloring and creating a very beautiful picture...
  10. Thanx brother, this will come in handy for my baby daughter...
  11. .Yesterday's meetings were superbly divine.....Liked the item about the Annual report, kind of opened my eyes to the efforts that our brothers go through to get those who are favorably disposed to everlasting life....

Thank  you sister Wendy; Much appreciated..

  12. Job was totally oblivious to what was happening to him....and in all his pain and suffering....Jehovah counted him as righteous...Which is precisely why we have his record preserved in the bible, worthy of our emulation...
  13. PICTURE THIS: You are touring a museum full of ancient monuments. Most are pitted, weathered, and eroded. Some have great chunks missing. One, though, is remarkably intact; its intricate design is clear in every detail. “Is this one newer than the others?” you ask your guide. “No,” he responds, “it is older than most, and it has never been rebuilt.” “Has it been sheltered?” you ask. “No,” says your guide, “this one has faced the worst wind and rain. And many vandals have tried to mar it.” Perhaps you would wonder in amazement, ‘What is it made of?’ The Bible, though, stands out as different. The writing of it began over 35 centuries ago, yet the Bible is intact. And though it has been attacked again and again over the centuries—burned, banned, and belittled—its statements have weathered every onslaught. Far from being proved obsolete in the face of new knowledge, the Bible says much that shows amazing foresight.—See the box “Outdated or Ahead of Its Time?” (Source The Watchtower- No 1/2018)
  14. Talk about food at the proper time....Also satisfying my goal to learn Danish....how about that for killing one bird with two stones ( or is it the other way around)?
