In reading the text today, I read something I had not thought about! It is interesting that I knew faith was our shield, our protection! I also knew that the soldier's shield covered from his shoulders to his knees! Somehow, I never thought about our shield shrinking or growing based on our faith! That's a profound thought! So each of us want to be determined to continue to work on and build our faith so it will be stronger and stronger making our shield larger and larger!

Such wonderful examples of women in the Bible for us to be encouraged by! Jehovah honors women!

Most excellent talk! Comparing the temptations of Jesus to the temptations we are exposed to today! What may have been the another convenient times in Jesus day and what may they be in our day? Any transcripts for this talk?

We are looking for the ones rightly disposed for everlasting life! We are not looking for the haughty, phony, know it alls who don't want to listen! We are looking for the humble, meek, teachable and eager to learn the truth!

The world is cruel and inconsiderate, especially if you are elderly or have disabilities! They have no time for you! They will throw you away like trash! Jesus was loving, considerate and patient! He showed love to all no matter what their circumstance! This is the way we should be if we are to copy his example!

Jesus disciples returned and were so excited about expelling demons and performing other powerful works! Jesus helped them to realize that the most important thing was that of gaining Jehovah's approval! The same is true of us today in doing the preaching work! We are Jehovah's fellow workers in the field and we gain his approval! What a grand privilege!

Jesus came to earth and suffered as a man, thereby understanding the things we go through! He also gave us another most wonderful gift, free access to Jehovah in prayer! We can approach him at any time and as Paul says, receive gifts of mercy and undeserved kindness to help us at any time! What a wonderful gift and blessing we received from our High Priest! Oh, how we cherish it!

We must also remember that this freedom is nothing we earned nor do we deserve it! Therefore we must do our utmost to preserve and cherish this most generous gift from Jehovah that we will never be able to repay!

We should make sure we have all the facts before passing judgement on someone! Asking questions will often time give us the answer we need! As the old folks say, don't go off half cocked! The Watchtower uses an expression I've used for quite a while, A story that is only 10% true is 100% misleading! Most of the time when one is accused, it's only on 10% of the information! May your day be awesome, enlightening and encouraging! Good thing those Israelites went to investigate first! Totally different from what they thought! It could have been ugly, ugly!

Jehovah is really keeping us protected under his wings! We only need to follow his directions and he has appointed the Governing Body to direct us! Since we have been given free will, we can choose to listen to apostates, the government, social media or others and lose our life! We can choose to follow Jehovah through his organization and live! Not just live but enjoy the real life, as this is not it! Thank you Brother Manfred!

And there is nothing else to say! Thank you!

It was exactly what we needed at the right time! People have complely gone to the crazies here with everything wide open, rioting and looting! Sacred service is the center of our lives! We need to deal with our problems and follow instructions! Remembering that Jehovah cannot lie, all these things he has promised us, he will do!! Having hope as an anchor and believing in promises Jehovah has made will keep us anchored, will keep us stable and that is exactly what we need! I love that picture and have looked at it many many times, imaging myself in that picture!! I never noticed the leopard laying so comfortable in the tree!!! How did I miss that one? Talk was indeed faith strenghtening, to me!

Let's us know that Jehovah is most definitely in control and that he loves us! Many times, we don't know why something is happening or why it seems we are being blocked and we find out later!! Jehovah's hand was in it! He sees the whole picture and sees what's coming! It's as if he is telling us, I've got this! He definitely does take care of us!

Texas has opened things up and new cases of the virus has escalated! Saturday morning Service Meeting, we were shown graphs showing positive cases before opening and after opening! There was also graphs showing number of hospital beds used since then! Both graphs showed horrible results! We have been advised by the Slave that no matter what the government says, Kingdom Halls will remain closed and no public witnessing here! We have also been advised to use discernment about going back to work, shopping etc. Since many employees are making arrangements for employees to work from home, that's something to look into! These letters from the Slave have read for last two meetings stressing the urgency! Another point brought out during Service Meeting is be frugal with food. It has become difficult to find flour, butter, yeast, rice, beans, milk and other things! Often when you find it, quantities are limited! Now there is a shortage of meat! Texas is beef country!! Where is the beef? To be frugal, we have been advised to promptly put up left overs, don't let food spoil in or out of the refrigerator and don't waste food! Why? We looked at the four horseman the 6th chapter of Revelation, in particular the one with the scales, famine! We have been advised that rationing is next! We have been advised! Jehovah is teaching his people to survive during this pandemic!

We are constantly told that even though we are Jehovah's people, we are not immune to things around us. However, our love for our brotherhood is so great that we still grieve when we lose our brothers and sisters! We may not know them, we may have not met them, they may have lived in a different country far away, we may not even speak their language but there is a common bond of love! They were part of our family, we support their family and if we are not there, we pray for their family! That's what we do! That's who we are! Even the loss of one is one too many! We all look forward to the day when we won't have to say goodbye to members of our spiritual family to that cruel enemy death! What a joyous time that will be! Until that time let's all stay on the watch, be obedient to directions Jehovah gives us and preserve in prayer!

What a beautiful picture we have of paradise! An exquisite well watered garden with luscious fruit trees, tropical plants and animals! We cannot even imagine what Jehovah has in store for us! What a hope we have as Jehovah's people!

All you can do, is all you can do! When I was working, I learned to say that when tempted to work overtime, when I had already done all the work on a project that I could! Soooo, I would pack it up and go home!!!

Whatever Jehovah tells us, we can rest assured it will come true! His word endures forever! There are some killing themselves during this pandemic, saying they can't take it. They have no hope, how sad. We, as Jehovah's people, are being fortified by Jehovah, tightly holding his hand! Why? He gives us comfort and hope! He has given us his Word! We have a glorious hope of living in a paradise Earth in perfect health and no stinky pandemic! During these horrible times, our trust is in our Father and we keep a tight grip on his hand!!

I received this experience from a Special Pioneer, brother who lives in Ohio, I think. He gave me the name of the Sister that he and his wife met in the Garza Strip now living in Kansas.

We show genuine Christian Love by assisting those in need! It could be as simple as listening or giving encouragement! Satan is slapping all of us and we need that stoking of encouragement! When we show love and mercy to others Jehovah will extend love and mercy to us! Jehovah tells us that when we help the lowly, we are lending to him! What a powerful thought!!! Lending to the Creator! Whew!

Receiving recognition from Jehovah is the highest honor anyone can receive! Blessings we will receive from Jehovah are way above our imagination! Trying to please this world to get recognition is like upgrading to a State Room on the sinking Titanic!

"No one has love greater than this, that someone should surrender his life in behalf of his friends". During the Memorial season we meditate on the two greatest expressions of love ever shown that of Jehovah God and his Son, Jesus Christ! This great act of love was done to enable us to escape the condemnation of sin and death! What a gift! What a price! As we celebrate the Memorial let us meditate on the greatest love shown to us, the great hope we were given and how we could never ever repay them! Let us be oh so very thankful that we have the love of Jehovah and the Christ! May your day be nothing but joyous!
