I took my Seroquel, 25mg last night and about 2-3 nights ago, it's for bipolar. Another thing it does is put you to sleep which I very much need due to my peripheral neuropathy.
But oh-my-goodness! The next day you feel like that fictitious zombie must feel...groggy, half dead. But at least I was able sleep. And like said above it's only 25mg! I don't understand how people can deal with higher doses of the stuff, like up to 400mg. Goodness! I'm sitting here in front of the TV like I'm stoned, not drunk stoned, just stoned. But I was able to sleep. One outta whatever is better than nothing I guess.

Hmmm, I didn't think about coffee, not at all, though coffee tends to raise my blood pressure. But hey, I won't be trying to drink the whole jar. Sooo, on the way home from the meeting tomorrow I'll buy a small jar, and drink it only in the morning after my Seroquel pill popping. Thanks!!

I used to be on Seroquel, and it certainly made me feel like a zombie... I ended up spending nearly a decade of being awake for 24-32 hours at a time and sleeping for 12-16 hours after taking it. Not to mention the long term side effects.
I've since been able to get off of it after years of making diet and lifestyle changes, but sleep is still a daily struggle. Hang in there Sister Luezette, I pray that Jehovah will give you the strength to endure this trial.
