Both my parents got the Moderna vaccine. I may choose the same.

Just finished a Sheparding call with an Elder and the Overseer. Was nice. I was surprised though at the request/offer if I'd like to serve the congregation in a greater way, I was basically being asked on the spot if I could be in the position of a MS!

Of course, I had to explain the condition of my health and why I couldn't hold such a position, but it was a nice compliment regardless to be encouraged to reach out for such a role.

I've had the absolute pleasure this week of drawing sister Bea's kitten... my first time ever drawing one so young 

well when it rains it rains my food is in pain and my ear hurts and i have a bruise that i don't know what happened there hmm getting old i guess oh and i can't sleep and all most 3am been up for 2he now

We have a bell that goes off when someone comes in the gate, a ways below the house. It went off today. We were still in bed. I looked down the road, and it was an ATV, with army-like men in it. 
They had a search warrant. With my husband’s name on it.
Yesterday, I saw their helicopter, but thought nothing of it. 
It ended up that we had three ATV’s and a helicopter, so low, we could smell the diesel it ran on. Today.
They left and sent the helicopter to investigate. Again. They came back and said the plants were above our house. Um, the vegetable garden. 
They were here for some time. I know they went to an effort to get that search warrant. And, they did not want to waste it 
Finally they had to admit they saw our vegetable garden from the air, and had determined it was dope. 
They went on their way, and, I missed my field service meeting.
They were a pleasant sort. Just doing their job. 

Devastated. Losing my job tomorrow/next week because of Covid. No cruises leaving, just need to get people off the ships.

It has been a minute or two since I've been here. November 14, 2018. I aim to make up for it by killing my like and love buttons. 

Now I remember why I came here from my bible reading! After many years in the truth, how many times have we read the Bible. And I made a point to read it some years ago, in a year. 
Well, as I started my weeks bible reading and research, it dawned on me, this is the first time I am reading some scriptures, since our bible was released at that annual meeting. What a treat. Refreshing!

Hurting tonight. My brother, who is 3 years younger than me, is in hospital and not doing well. My Sis-in-law has been texting me. We have many feelings that are similar. I never knew. Many raw feelings because of my sister who has included herself. She has mental illness and makes life crazy. Pray for me please. It's not good.

Boss falling into depression, his company is being shredded by the IRS... I haven't been paid for several months now... 
The risk for being "independent"... sob... Jehovah will provide.

just finished with the regional. fun three days except for the leg cramps. I propose a 2 minute stretch after each talk.

Our congregation has been combined with the other congregation in our KH. First meeting today. Quite crowded, quite loud. Came away with the idea that is about time to divide again.

 

I fell yesterday. In service. I was getting out of a back seat, my feet got tangled in my purse strap, and down I went. Initially, flat on my back. Then I bounced, and my head hit the ground, and it bounced. It was a hard fall. I remember as I was in the second phase, thinking, “Oh great, a two phase fall”. 
I'm sore today. Actually pretty sore, and I did my neck no favors. At my age, it could have been life altering. Have you any idea how grateful I am? I assure you, that will not happen again. 
I could have broken so many things. I feel like I really jarred myself. As I said, one thankful person, I am. 
(It was my call, I went on it, then we all went home.) A long day that ended well!)

A magazine’s adventure. Years ago, I was in Pierre, South Dakota. They had literature in the Lakota language. I had to have. Just one. I ended up giving it to a brother I knew would appreciate it. This was many years ago. 
This last Wednesday, we had visitors. For our meal after service. They were the friends in a video. Blackfoot Tribe, from the Blood Reserve in Canada. They are speakers of their language, and are helping with translationing of literature in the language they speak. 
When they knew we knew of a magazine in the Lakota language, they were interested. As I live and breathe, the sister of the husband I gave it to, went to their vehicle, and fetched it. 
That magazine is on its way back to Canada! 
I pick it up in the mid nineties. 

I moved from Crimea back to Ukraine! Left everything behind...
And more than that I'm now in English congregation!
