Should we make a thread for our online family to "check-in" when there are disasters happening in their area (if they can, of course). Because we do worry about you all when we know that you've been affected by some disaster or even the terrorist attacks.
I just find the online comments saying "they're ok" get lost in the thread about the disaster, that's all.-

i was thinking something similar the other day. Some sort of daily or weekly check in or what I thinking is like when you retire for the night, saying something like all is well here. good night from Atlantic Canada. but then what if someone doesnt check in or loses interest to check in or doesnt feel like going online, then we worry for nothing and get stressed out and worry more and and stay up all night wondering if they are ok and then start making long distance phone calls to......yeah, I can easily allow myself to worry needlessly. But that'st me right?
But as you say, when disaster strikes, it's nice to know.
