So it turns out the Muslims in Turkey are slowly warming up to Western Christmas traditions. They don't celebrate Christmas per se, but they show appreciation for Baba Noel (Santa Claus), because Saint Nicolas was a Turk. They don't have Christmas trees, but "New Year's Trees".
So a pagan tradition that was "christianized" and now has become "islamicized".
What a joke. I'm so proud of us all standing our ground on this issue.
