  1. Fiona, you did NOT fail. Your daughter chose to leave Jehovah. This is something i have had to understand myself. When your child leaves Jehovah it is not failure on our part. It is them exercising their free will. You did what you could under whatever circumstance you were under. Please don’t feel it as a failure. 🩷
  2. What’s that free bible site (not ours) that has different translations that include like the living bible? I had a bookmark for it, but now I can’t find it. I hope someone knows what I’m talking about.

Loved the picture of you and your daughter on your profile page. What do you call it? Wall paper? These cholesterol pills are messing up with my memory.

Anyway you both looked so lovely, posing side by side. The years have been kind to you. I have to battle pigmentations from this infernal equatorial sun.

      Warm Christian love, Anne

      Spoiler

To proclaim the favorable year of Yahweh
And the day of vengeance of our God,
      To comfort all who mourn,
Giving them a headdress instead of ashes,
The oil of rejoicing instead of mourning,
The mantle of praise instead of a spirit of fainting.
So they will be called oaks of righteousness,
The planting of Yahweh, that He may show forth His beautiful glory.

  3. Plant based products are all well and good unless you’re craving salmon sushi.
  4. I’m interested in knowing what this was about since I share addresses with older sister, who are unable to do service in person. I am also on zoom at least twice a week with the letter writing with two different groups both at my same hall. One is a Friday morning group very small. The other is a Monday group with a variety of people from many places that’s been going on since right after Covid started. We had our Meeting on Thursday and there was no announcement concerning this subject.

Hey Norma! Nice to see you! It seems you managed to change your username. :)

  6. Need to change my name on here though.

  7. Hello all! Been a long time since I’ve been on!

  8. Thing is…. I respect each persons decision and it’s not my business to ask why or why don’t they vaccinate. It’s a personal medical decision. As long as I’m taking the precautions of masking and distancing, then I AM taking others into consideration. And by respecting my spiritual families decision for their own families, i am keeping unity within the congregation. I think many have gotten away from that. I don’t ask anyone why they make any medical decision that they make. I trust that they have prayerfully considered all the consequences. Then i prayerfully consider my own choices and leave the rest in Jehovahs hands. I’m not pointing out one person or another or one post or another. I’ve sat back for a long time and just read posts and I see disunity where there should be none. It makes me sad. Love to you all. ❤️
  9. Yet the Governing Body has not said that it is for each of us to personally decide whether to put up a Christmas tree.
  10. No matter what anyone chooses to do, I respect their PERSONAL decision. I don’t need to know the reason behind their PERSONAL decision, or to try and convince them of my PERSONAL decision. If someone chooses not to wear a mask ( as many vaccinated and non vaccinated have chosen to do )it is my personal responsibility to self distance from them and wear a mask myself and take any other measures I feel necessary, while respecting their PERSONAL decisions. I love all my brothers and sisters and I carry my own load. This is how I feel Jehovah wants me to view this.
  11. I remember eating at these tables and I remember the trays. I don’t remember the food choices. I think I must have been six or seven.
  12. It was and still is for many people, but many don’t choose to advertise it, as it is a personal decision.
  13. https://www.thelancet.com/journals/lancet/article/PIIS0140-6736(21)02243-1/fulltext#coronavirus-linkback-header an interesting article pertaining to vaccinated and unvaccinated. From the lancet.
  14. Does anyone know of any field service (letter writing) zoom group going on right now that I can join?

  15. My Amazing Daughter Caleigh and my wonderful new son-in-law Aaron. They put Jehovah first and are beginning their life together with the most incredible relationship that I have ever seen. I can’t wait to see what they accomplish together.
  16. Actually I think it’s both…. Anyone can pass it, anyone can get it.
  17. Vaccinated people can also transmit and catch COVID-19 so to be on the safe side all people coming into your home should wear a mask whether vaccinated or unvaccinated.
