My son was attacked by a young man, not right in his head. He damaged his truck, but not him. But he said he was coming back to get them. He’s an individual who needs locked up, indefinitely. (Sex crime against a three year old) But, he was just released from some sort of incarceration. My daughter in law...well, this is all just incredible. They are not in the truth. Yet. Wonder if they will see it as a wake up call. At any rate, it is horrible. We know it’s out there, but when it gets so close to home...

You may have heard people say something like: “Well, I can’t fall apart right now; I have kids to take care of.” That may be true, but what makes us think that giving ourselves the time and space to experience a loss will cause us to “fall apart”? In truth, you are more likely to “fall apart” when you try to stuff your natural emotions into a closet. You are also much more likely to reach for your addictive behavior to try to keep that closet door shut.

Had a pizza eating, karaoke singing, line dancing, guitar playing,Kingdom-vocals rendering, puzzle assembling, game playing 6.5 hour party at my place yesterday; because that's the way we eat, sing, dance, render, assemble, play, and, of course, the way we roll. Our opening prayer was by a wonderful elder who is new to our congregation. My next assignment (by the middle-schoolers) is to learn the Cleveland Hustle (dance).
