Dismal is a Brother now!   

Went into local gas station/convenience store, yesterday. Cashier says. "Pauline, I heard meetings are starting up again on April 1. " Can I count everyone in the store as an rv? HaHa

Sad day for my neighborhood. Fire broke out in a home, rescue tried to get the 15 year old daughter out of a window but she couldn’t do it. Overcome by smoke. The father is in hospital. Our brother, Chuck, lives next door, saw the whole thing during meeting this morning. So sad, look forward to the resurrection. 

TODAY we are celebrating our 66th wedding anniversary.
He has been a faithful Brother for 50 years, a MS who pioneered many years. He is now in hospice in a nursing home so I don't know if there will be a 67th. 😢
So please celebrate this day with us....💕

40 years ago, the 1981 Hunger strikes ended. I did not understand, then, the sad and tragic results when politics and religion are NOT kept separate. So to catch everyone up, David and I were married on 29th March. It was, basically us two, David's parents and two friends at the registry office. Then we had a Zoom talk and get together. It was incredibly nice. I might post some pics soon. Thank you all who showed concern and kept us in your prayers.

In the last five years, I went from a full-time employee in a high-stress job, to found a tumour in my chest, then went back to work. Had a full hysterectomy (no wimpy laparoscopy for me, always gotta do everything the hard way) after they discovered a pumpkin sized growth in my uterus, my husband lost his job, twice. His Dad died, and mine had emergency surgery. My aunt died. Adopted two children, and then moved one province over and 1400 km away (it was a fantastic move) Got bit up by the family dog and needed 18 stitches, had to put him down because he had a brain tumour. Started homeschooling during a pandemic. I have to say Jehovah ❤️ is good. He's sustained me through one trial after another, and I haven't lost my sanity yet. NO WONDER I'VE BEEN CRANKY LOL!

So, an apostate sent me a private email. They said "You a JW I can smell your stench from here".

I guess I should be proud that I'm recognised to be one of Jehovah's people just by my words and conduct alone, lol.
