Melbourne International Convention update: we are now looking forward to welcoming 6,300 delegates including approximately 700 of which who are serving as special full-time service.Number slightly increased.

The other night, my hubby and I were discussing events we would actually travel to see and purchase tickets to.  He said he would be willing to go out of his way to watch "Riverdance On Ice"

Then, this morning, I found one of my solar-powered critters on the floor.  I was perplexed as to how it had managed to fall off of the window ledge.  My hubby says, "He was probably taking a selfie."

If only he wasn't such a staunch atheist.  He'd make a fun brother. 

Yesterday, a sister came up to me after service and handed me a jacket and said she knew I wore this type of jacket but she wasn’t sure if it would be too big. Than she gave me a bag which she said had skirt(s). 
 
I tried on the jacket and it fit perfectly. We chatted than I got in my truck. Than I bailed out so fast because it just hit me what she had said. I replied….did you say you thought it would be too big?!!
 
She said yes.
 
Than you’ve noticed?? (Was curious why she said that. Never mentioned anything to me before.) Other than Ross saying anything no one else has. 
 
It’s been a crazy end of the week so I haven’t tried the skirt(s) on yet..haven’t even checked out the bag actually, which I’m ashamed.
Haven’t checked the scale since first of March but if I’m losing inches I’m very, very happy.
 
But to have someone mention that they noticed I’m losing weight just gave me the encouragement I needed. 
 
Played a Dr. Berg video this morning and he showed a video on how to losen/tighten that still flabby “pooch” (stomach) as he calls it (with a type of exercise). And not with sit-ups either. Totally different. But right now my back is too sore to tighten my butt muscles and lean backwards. LOL
 
 Than he said to lower carbs to 10g. So I adjusted my Carb Manager app.
 
Today, I figured out what I’ve eaten and what I will eat later for dinner  and I hit the 10 carbs perfectly. Huh! See if I can do that every day. Hmmm!

I had to put my husband in Hospice care 😪

I am LOVING the Research Guide addition to our Study Bible. I am spending so much more time pondering over the study material, it is so easy to use. It makes me think of the piles of indexes, books, and bound volumes I used to have on my desk. I am so appreciative of how we are taken care of!

Tuesday evening, after the meeting, waiting for the bus with my family, a couple of spanish people with their 20yo english speaking son ask us some question about where to find a restaurant in the area... turns our they are JW !!! So happy to make new friends !!! They are from Costa Rica, visiting Europe... what were the odds? Angels at work? So nice.

Tomorrow will be my 58th year of marriage. Wow who knew the system would go on this long.

Looking forward to the weekend. About sixteen  of our congregation will travel up to Stratford on
Friday. On Saturday we join their congregation in field service to help with seldom worked territory.
Saturday night is a meal with them at a restaurant and Sunday we attend their meeting before coming home.

After 2 days of being without power, it is good to finally be back home. 

Saturday I was heading out to field service and found my moped had been stolen overnight. I was determined to still go as I had made arrangements for a return visit/study.
 Met someone on the doors 3 weeks ago had a long spiritual discussion with them and offered a study. Last week again had a good discussion and started the Bible teach book.
Was able to forget about things and focus on spiritual matters.

Big announcement tonight! 16 congregations in my city are no longer going to exist as of April 1 (only 2 of them are English). With that, at least two Kingdom Halls, and possibly a third, are no longer going to be used as KHs (one of them is ours). Things are being reorganized to better use our facilities. (Similar to the status update from @Old dated Feb 3.)

Awhile back someone posted a link to the 2019 year text - blue background and white lettering.  I am using it as my wallpaper but neglected to save the file and have no idea if or where it is saved on Win 10.  I can't find the post where I got it... any ideas where it might be in here?  I'd like to print it out.  Thanks!

Well, it's been four months, almost to the day, that I had my constant passing out problem after the Sunday meeting.
 
My appt. with neurology finally came about this morning.  
 
The neurologist was completely stumped as to the cause of these repeated 'syncapol episodes'.
 
He was, however, able to rule out a whole bunch of possible culprits.
 
Thanks to going KETO, I am almost 40 pounds lighter now, and I told him my 'insulin resistance' theory.  If insulin resistance was causing all my other health woes, maybe it was the cause for this, too.
 
He said he figured it was as good an explanation as any.
 
He was astonished that the ER doc hadn't contacted the Sec. of State and that my driver's license hadn't been put on hold for six months.  
 
But, since I have had no further occurrences of this odd malady for the past four months now, he
told me I may as well just continue to drive, since my six months will be up in just two more months.
 
Finally, I left with the assurance that the root of the problem was physiological and not psychological.  
 
A diagnosis I can definitely live with...I hope. 

There's a 10 to 12 car pile-up here, in Michigan's Central Upper Peninsula.   The pile-up occurred in white-out conditions on one of the most remote stretches of M-28 highway and the windchill factor is currently waaaaaaaaaaaaay below zero. 
I know, because I was just outdoors for a few minutes, refilling my bird feeders and every uncovered surface on my body sort a' froze...including my eyeballs.
Also, the search is entering its second day for a missing hiker in the Yellow Dog Plains...another extremely desolate place.  In fact, it is considered to be a remote wilderness because there are practically no roads around there.
Windchills got as low as -30 F. last night, so it is not looking good for that poor lost victim right now. 
Warnings, to remain indoors and stay off the roads, have been being given for the past few days and people continue to ignore them, much to their detriment.
Jehovah's warning isn't the only one they refuse to listen to.  

Too cold for meeting clothes this morning. Service clothes and their warmy goodness this morning. -5F out with windchill. Wednesday just in time for midweek it will be -15F.

Weary of being sick. Had sinus infection in November and it's back again this week along with strep throat. Thought i just had a cold, nup. Dizzy, cross-eyed, tired, woozy. Went to urgent care today and they put me on some stronger meds. Hope to feel better soon. Can't be soon enough, cross-eyed makes it hard to function.

My great grand daughter was baptized today. 🧡
