Was looking at my notifications and saw -  Old Friends Just Call Me Ross, do we have a new member? 😊

The day after the memorial evening is the day Jesus was sacrified... 3pm... A good thing to meditate

So embarrassed right now.  >.< The elder texted asking if they could drop off wine/bread today for tomorrow  but said I'd need a container (makes sense rather than giving everyone a bottle).
 
The only container I can find is a tumblr cup but.... the only one with a lid I could find is the pokemon one. Which I sent a picture of to ask if it was appropriate. It'd be moved to a cup of course, but to hold it in till then ..
 
Oh god, pokemon, like, what's he going to think? I have no issue with pokemon still but this is an elder who's like ex-military strict. I'm so nervous for the answer I'll get texted back.

Someone outside keeps coughing up a storm every few seconds. It's at this point I wish it was legal to take a hose and soapy water and spray their yard and house down while they're asleep. Not going to. Just wish.

Corona craziness.

At last night’s mid week meeting, the chairman (COBE) said for the memorial, we’ll have a video, we’ll pray over the emblems and each family should have the wine 🍷 and bread 🍞 to pass. 
 
One elder said if anyone needed the wine he and his wife were going to Meijers and could pick up a small single serve (?) bottle. So since I am no wine connoisseur I asked if he would do that for me. 
 
Well, I get a call today from another elder (grandparents-in-law actually) and he said that I could come and pick up a few drops 😁 of wine in a container and they also had a few small pieces of bread. (They had it outside.)
 
Whew! Seeing as how I couldn’t even find the appropriate flour (empty shelves) at walmart’s today, it all worked out pretty good for me. Thank you very much, Jehovah.
 
So now I can relax as I’m all set for the most important event of the year.

Just found out a fella I know, brother of my BIL, just died in a car accident. I have spoken to him, Dave, about the truth. Am going to ask about witnessing to Dave about death as soon as is appropriate. 
So sad.

Had our first Zoom video meeting last night. Went really smooth, and was nice getting to see people of my congegation face to face! (seeing how I can't get out).

Was a good time with my group, very down to earth and some funny characters They were also glad to see me face to face, as they had only ""heard" of me from my family at the hall.

Our meeting went great tonight!! 9 of us attended (those who had parts), everyone else tied in via telephone. Some previously sent the brothers their comments yesterday by text or email, some sent to sound person during meeting and he relayed them, some sent voice messages and those answers  were played where everyone could hear. It went great! No problems whatsoever!!  Sunday it will be just the speaker, the brother assigned to do WT and the reader, the sound person and the door watcher. Everyone else will listen in and send in their answers.What a great night! Jehovah really helped us all.

Just returned from our CA, Branch Rep program, very up. Then be blind sided by news from Hawaii's big island. The missing young woman, now found was my wife's niece. 
I can take things with a grain of salt but her cousins are very upset. The niece's family walked away from the Truth about 11 years ago, which was the last time I talked with her. There is drug involvement. Would this have happened if the family had remained faithful? Sad old system we live in.

Hubby had to be at the hospital at 5:30am for a hernia repair.
Surgeon just came out and said
he is doing fine.  Had to keep
stopping so anesthesiologist
could get his blood pressure
stabilized.  He was dehydrated 
and additional IV fluids fixed him
right up.
 

I think I have a R.O.U.S. in  my bedroom wall!!! I've never heard such noise!!

For Metropolitan witnessing I got assigned Siesta Key Village

Took my 17 year old, 4-legged best friend Sophie (avatar) for a vet visit yesterday. She has a painful bone spur on her shoulder and I wanted her checked over again as it’s been a while. 
 
Last time we went I told him how even as sore as she must be she’d grab one of her 2 treats and run upstairs, eat it and come down for the other one and sometimes go right back upstairs. So we decided to not mess with it.
 
This time she’s got meds. He could really see her limping. ☹️
 
Ahhh! He remembered I had told him quite a while ago, pills are not an option because she smells everything I give her by hand and if there’s even a mild scent of meds she will NOT eat it. So we’re on a liquid med again. 
 
Again he said her heart is very strong. ☺️That’s wonderful news for me to hear. 
 
I love my best friend with all my heart and want her to be as healthy as possible....for as long as I have her to take care of.

Now I remember why I came here from my bible reading! After many years in the truth, how many times have we read the Bible. And I made a point to read it some years ago, in a year. 
Well, as I started my weeks bible reading and research, it dawned on me, this is the first time I am reading some scriptures, since our bible was released at that annual meeting. What a treat. Refreshing!
