  1. Exciting! I heard it’s a possibility of January for us here in Queensland BUT we shall see what happens after the border opens here fully from December 17.
  2. 1. Coconut 2. Raspberries 3. Avocado 4. Pineapple 5. Cashews 6. Rustic homemade fries 7. Homemade cupcakes with buttercream icing 8. Pasta 9. Prawns 10. Salmon
  3. So true! Victoria and SA have the best wine by far in Australia. I purchase regularly from a boutique winery in Glenrowan called Baileys. They make all red wine (bar one sweet white). Lovely cafe there. The Yarra Valley would have to be my favourite, I haven't been there in years.
  4. We like to eat an easy breakfast which is our go too most days of porridge/ rolled oats or overnight oats/ Bircher muesli. (Depending where you are from they are called different things.) If for some reason I am running late getting ready I will take the overnight oats with me and eat when we arrive. My husband is the coffee maker so he makes me a coffee and fills a flask. I prep food on the Thursday before and usually buy a roast chicken shred it and store in the fridge along with salad ingredients. Then when dinner is over which usually includes roast veg or pasta (I make extra for leftovers) then I set to making the lunch as soon as dinner is over. I always make our lunch the night before and we usually like salad that has either roast potato, sweet potato, pumpkin, cooked cold pasta mixed with mayo or drained canned beans or chic peas with different things like boiled eggs, tuna or chopped chicken, cherry tomatoes, diced canned beetroot (pack a tea towel for your lap to catch unwanted spills) cucumber, mixed lettuce or baby spinach. You can put your dressing in a little non spill container. Sometimes I make the salad vegan for me if I'm not feeling like anything heavy. Wraps are an easy go to as they keep well if made the night before. By the last day I'm over making salad so we have wraps or chicken, mayo and lettuce rolls. We take extra sandwiches like peanut butter, some bananas, apples or blueberries to have when the sessions are over as we usually have to stay back for cleaning. If i have time I make muffins, cookies or little cakes to take to share with our friends. Also insulated water bottles are the best! It keeps your water cold all day, especially good if you happen to leave it in the car. Great for the ministry too!
  5. https://www.digitalmomblog.com/best-mexican-instant-pot-recipes/ have a look at these recipes
  6. Yes I have one and it's life changing! I used it tonight to cook a whole chicken , I just rubbed it with salt, pepper, paprika, garlic powder, avocado oil then seared (I can do this in the pot) and placed it on a trivia, put chicken stock in the bottom then cooked for 30 min with a 12 min steam release. I've found heaps of recipes on Pinterest. Have also cooked a whole roast beef and had shredded beef for tacos and I've put chicken thigh cutlets on the bone in and 20 min later it falls off the bone. I've made soup as well. The best was a rissoto that took 7 mins! I haven't had it long so want to test a few more recipes in it.
  7. An avocado tree is a must in the new system! My parents had one when I was a kid and I love avocado. They are $3.50 at the shops here at the moment! Love it on sourdough toast, mashed with a bit of feta, squeeze of lemon juice and topped with arugula (referred to as rocket here) and a drizzle of olive oil. Yum! Does anyone else here dislike it cooked? I love the idea of it but then I order a dish with it in and I'm always disappointed as it tastes bitter
  8. How stressful for your family Leslie. Wishing her a speeding recovery after she is out of hospital xo
  9. Fantastic! You are the best person I know to have won this Leslie, you'll be cooking up a storm!
  10. To go on seldom worked territory which I will accomplish with my family in less than 2 months time. To auxiliary pioneer at least 3 times and possibly try for a 50hour month and not just the 30 like I usually do since this has been made available.
  11. Highly recommend Chasing Mavericks. Based on a true story.. Great for anyone who loves surfing.
  12. The minister visits the church member at his house and then he writes the note on the card the minister leaves. The note says what is written at Gen 3:10 does that make more sense now? Like I said it's sketchy
  13. Yes that's part of the joke. Use the King James Version for the Intro. It's easy with the JW app.
