Well, since I started this WOE, I have been dying for yogurt. But I refuse.
 
I finally found a recipe in Pinterest.  All you need is:
 
Sour Cream
Heavy Whipping Cream

Is it wrong to feel anxiety and sadness when you get a call from your service overseer who tells you that "the mid-week meeting has been cancelled" ...however valid the reason may be? 😫
 

Et voilà, Jéhovah answered our prayer, so we had to fulfill our vows : Regular Pioneering, here we go, long time no see

Please pray for me. My son and I regularly go to the convention together. This year, his inactive wife, (for years) is going. Just for the trip.(her FB posts tell that tale)  I decided long ago to not go with a person not in the truth for conventions, (long story there) and, alas, here I go again. (And I’m surprised my son’s congregation turned a badge loose for her. We almost had to have a notarized statement to get more then one badge.) 
Any way, good for her. We are busy planning details. I think she is in for a theocratic shock. She’s never seen our videos. 
So, pray for her too, that this is the jolt she needs. 
I know we need it! 

Since I was really sore from my surgery, I listened in to today's meeting via the phone tie-in.
 
We had a visiting speaker for the Public Talk and he sounded exactly like Red Green.     
 
I kept cracking smiles as I listened to him speak. This brother just happens to have the same speech mannerisms and raspy voice as my favorite Possum Lodge Duct Tape handyman.   
 
The brother also gave an amazing talk.  
 
Had to grin again whenever he commented during the WT study and when he gave the closing prayer.

Last night a sister fell and broke her ankle in three places.
She's hospitalized and going to have surgery tomorrow.
 
She called and asked me to take care of her little dog, Pixie.
This daschund/chihuahua mix dog has known me its entire life.
It has never been friendly but it has never been aggressive either.
I checked with my hubby and he okay'd the project so I drove
to the sister's house.  (She lives about a mile and a half from me.)
 
Her dog barked and then went and hid when I arrived.  I spoke lovingly
to it  and put all the dog's supplies in my car.
 
When I tried to get the dog, it hid between a lamp table and the sofa.
When I reached for it, it growled and so I backed off and took about
fifteen minutes trying to assure it I was there to help and not hurt.
 
I finally got brave enough, ignored the growling and extended my hand.
It bit me.  Didn't break the skin, but it hurt just the same.
 
I unloaded all the doggy supplies from my car and put them back in the house.
 
When I got home, I called the sister and told her that I was willing but her dog
was not and that she would have to find an alternate dog sitter.
 
I feel bad but it isn't my fault that her dog is a fear-biter.

so I just had my regional assembly last weekend and wow, it's nearly September! Time to work on the CA notebooks! o_O

Right now I'm laying here feeling like I'm going to die from so much pain, at least to me. There's nothing I can take that will help, so I just have to keep telling my body to leave me alone for cryin' out loud. 

Got my car back from the dealer today. 
 
I’ve been saving up dollars for the rear axle seal and trying to for the brakes.
 
Did I get a surprise. They put the seal repair against the warranty. 😳
 
Which means I have more than enough dollars for getting the brakes done. I don’t have to wait 2 to 3 months to save up enough. 
 
I definitely said a prayer of thanks.
 
Getting the brakes done next Monday. Yipppeee!!!!!!

I checked out a so-called nutrition plan that uses a name like "Fairy Tale Nutrition" and espouses "miracle food and flavor combinations." it is simply a rewrite of the diabetic exchange program. F'rinstance for breakfast it states: One power protein, one super fat and one angel carbohydrate. Translate: One ounce lean meat or an egg, one tsp olive oil, one half cup Kale or spinach. There is nothing new or proprietary here. Save your $$$$
