Well, imagine my shock early this morning when I opened up my bank account (going to work on my budget) to find that my debit card had been wrongfully used. Someone bought something for almost $100. 
 
I had to wait for 2 hours before the bank 🏦  opened. 
 
I went there and they hot carded the debit card after checking the system. Than they also found something like over $400 😳 that had been somehow stopped. I guess it was New York and Pennsylvania. 
 
They are going to fight for me (Er whatever they called it) and than refund the money. 
 
Satan’s world at its wickedness.
 
 

I think I had a mini-stroke yesterday. It was entertaining. Somewhat. I moved through the morning on automatic pilot. Did comment at WT. That’s when I really noticed it. I got okay as the morning went on... 
I have someone who can drive for me, at last.
I gave a brother what I thought was a headlight replacement for his wives Subaru. From when I had my Outback. It was, um, a light switch, for our house! 
My standards for my personal well-being are somewhat shifting somewhat. 

Here in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan, the Marquette City Police have been dispatched to some rather unusual calls lately.
Two nights ago this came over my scanner radio:
"Punxsutawney Phil is running down the middle of North Third Street and the caller wants you to rescue it before it gets run over."
 
Of course the officers didn't think the dispatcher was serious, so they had him read the call verbatim.  
 
"There is a groundhog running down the middle of North Third Street and it needs to be rescued before someone runs it over."
 
So, the officers investigated...found the furry beast...caught it and reported that they were going to release it back into the wild. (Wish they had mentioned how they managed to catch it.  )
 
Well, just now, another 'groundhog in need of rescuing' call came in.  This time, it was in someone's backyard and the caller was afraid her dog was going to tangle with it.
 
Ahhh...the U.P....where a bear being spotted in someone's backyard makes front page news.  

Here in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan, the Marquette City Police have been dispatched to some rather unusual calls lately.

Finally! Warm enough to take my little Sophie for her first wheeler cart (stroller) ride for this year. She certainly enjoyed it. Altho she would have enjoyed it more if there had been something or someone (people/other dogs) to bark at. 
 
O well, she’ll have the summer time to do that. 😁
 
 

Oh no... bad chest cold today. Very horrible, dry cough coming from my bronchials......

Well, it looks like my sleep patterns are right for me to get to the Memorial tonight! (As always).
 
A literal miracle, I prayed that I'd be able to get there, and last week my sleep pattern had a sudden shift as I woke "randomly" during the day (which was unusual as I have random sleep patterns, but never have "broken sleep"), and then I used that chance to stay up and fix my sleep just right over the week, and it's turned out just right for today.

I think I solved the slow site performance issue...
 
 

Just watched a fantastic video “Learn Courage From Creation”. Wow! Although I coulda skipped the Mongoose and the King Cobra 🐍 part. Eeeeuuuu! 😁

No Mid-week Meeting for us tonight. 
 
Is the reason we don't have our Mid-week the week of our assemblies and conventions because we are drawing special attention to these weeks, or what?
 
I could never understand why, in the old, old, old days, we used to have our Tuesday night Book Study on Thursday night and our Thursday night Ministry School on Tuesday night, on the weeks our C.O. was scheduled to visit, either.
 
At one time, I may have been told why.  But then I got old and forgot. 
 
I used to haul all my books to both meetings, just in case.  LOLOL

Out in service this morning I asked an elder if the brother who has always done the Memorial talk in the past was going to do it again, or if we were going to have a video like we did last year.
 
His reply was we would have a video and the regular brother would be the chairman as last year.
 
Takes a lot of pressure off the brother who would give the talk. 
 
Pressure is not something any of our brothers need  right now with all the LDC issues with our KH project.
 
How many out there have the Memorial done by video?

Missed assembly today due to migraine with nausea. Could kick myself, (to even out the distress areas, if nothing else.) 

Melbourne International Convention update: we are now looking forward to welcoming 6,300 delegates including approximately 700 of which who are serving as special full-time service.Number slightly increased.

The other night, my hubby and I were discussing events we would actually travel to see and purchase tickets to.  He said he would be willing to go out of his way to watch "Riverdance On Ice"

Then, this morning, I found one of my solar-powered critters on the floor.  I was perplexed as to how it had managed to fall off of the window ledge.  My hubby says, "He was probably taking a selfie."

If only he wasn't such a staunch atheist.  He'd make a fun brother.
