Update on my daughter Zipporah:
Last night (Saturday) I called Marie (Zipporah's mother-in-law and our sister) and it was positive with a mixture of negative. Let's do the negative first to get it out of the way:
Marie is DONE in the sense that she can't take the marijuana smoking from my daughter and her son anymore, especially in her house where she feels it's so disrespectful (true). So Robert (her son) and my daughter will have to find somewhere else to live.
Positive: Marie said that, in spite of everything Zipporah is helping via cooking, cleaning, doing laundry (I'm proud of her for that).
However, I found out that Robert has indeed disassociated himself.
Anyway more positive: I told Marie that I'm saving up for the Greyhound to Georgia coming December, and she's thrilled. I'll be staying at Marie's. It'll be before the Christmas holiday because Marie and I will "maybe drop by Beverly and Jeff" (my fleshly sister and brother-in-law) and they do Christmas.
I'm proud that Zipporah is pulling her weight while living (temporarily) at Marie's place with her husband.

My youngest daughter. Age 32.
She never got baptized ("yet" I'm hoping). But she left home, went to Atlanta Georgia, met a baptized brother, they married.
Unfortunately they're both not doing good at all physically, spiritually. His mother, who is a sister, and I try our best to keep in touch, but she's not well. Yet she told me that they're both "pot heads." And it absolutely broke and breaks my heart!
When she first told me I broke down and just cried, and cried. The next day I called my Coordinator but really, what could he do about it but listen? And he did. I asked him to pray for not just my daughter and son-in-law, but for his mother too. He said he would and I'm sure he did. How do/did I know? Because before the day was over, actually before that night I began feeling an unbelievable calmness. Oh the pain was still there and even now, but it felt like it was bearable. And still do.
Never, absolutely never underestimate Jehovah's power via his holy spirit.
Now though financially in straits I'm trying to figure a way to get down there in December (because of time needed to save for the Greyhound).
Please, please pray for his mother, our sister. Her name is Marie. And if you feel it proper my unbaptized daughter's name is Zipporah. I don't know if it would be proper or not to include my son-in-law's name seeing he's baptized but is doing these things, in view of what the slave said about those who disassociate themselves and it doesn't have to be always via a letter according to the Organization book under the chapter about keeping the organization clean. It's up to you guys concerning him. I'm including that part about him just to think about you guys too.

Very sad day for me today.
Before 8:30 am this morning my spiritual mom messaged me to call her.
I went to pick her up to bring her to the hospital where a couple brothers met us and they went with “mom” into the room.
Dad past away early this morning. He was in the hospital for a while, put in a nursing home for about 3 weeks or so. Came home about 3 weeks ago on Monday, Tuesday night he was taken by ambulance and ended up in ICU. never leaving that floor.
Started him on dialysis this week. Took 30 pounds of water out on Wednesday and another 40 on Thursday and told mom they wanted to take another 20 today...she wouldn’t sign the papers.
With 5th stage kidney disease, heart disease, and a host of other issues, dad’s no longer in pain.
Dad’s in Jehovah’s memory.
As a sister told me when my “real” mom passed away, “There’s no better place to be.”

Tonight bad news, one of our brother's got DF'D. The influence of the air got him. The brother was baptized on the same day and month I was along with several others. Out of the 6 of us baptized, he and I were the only ones left in the truth. Then this happened. It really hurt my heart that his happened this evening. I know if he repents, he'll be back!

We "may" be meeting in our totally renovated Kingdom Hall on Sunday!!!!
Say "may" because our new hall needs to pass several inspections first.
With the quality and care that goes into our sacred service in building for Jehovah, I cannot imagine the inspectors denying the necessary permits.
Though we are all grateful for the use of the County Museum's basement, we will NOT be unhappy to vacate it.

It’s a sad day for me. My sister has died. She’s resting now at last. In Jehovah’s perfect memory.
I will find time for tears, but, I just made a salad, and, it is time for service.
I think I’m afraid to start crying.

This afternoon we had our first picnic together as a newly merged congregation. Happy faces, wide smiles and lots of handshakes and hugs abounded! We were worried that we may have had to cancel this anticipated event because of rain and thunderstorms that continued 24 hours beforehand. However, the rains suddenly stopped and many of us were thinking that maybe Jehovah "hushed the storm" long enough so we could thank and praise Him in prayer, enjoy the delicious food, desserts, good company, a poem recital by one of our dear sisters, a sister group (including me ) singing, "With Jehovah We Are One" and last but not least -- a 10-minute skit of our children portraying the Biblical event of Moses parting the Red Sea, while Pharaoh is in pursuit of the Israelites. (Our "Moses" this day is 7 years old!) Afterward, everyone joined in to sing the "The Victory Song".
It was an amazing day...thank you Jehovah! #neverfails#

I am so excited about representing our Congregation at the LDC project tomorrow!
On past RBC projects, I worked security and safety but, this time, I am slated to work in demolition-- 7:40 am to 5 pm. I have never demolished a Kingdom Hall before.
I'm guessing we will be 'removing' the Library, or the Elders Meeting room, or the washrooms...or the entryway.
Ahh...So little time and so much to demolish.
I'm counting on prayer, pacing myself and my Bayer Back and Body to get me through the day.

Well, imagine my shock early this morning when I opened up my bank account (going to work on my budget) to find that my debit card had been wrongfully used. Someone bought something for almost $100.
I had to wait for 2 hours before the bank 🏦 opened.
I went there and they hot carded the debit card after checking the system. Than they also found something like over $400 😳 that had been somehow stopped. I guess it was New York and Pennsylvania.
They are going to fight for me (Er whatever they called it) and than refund the money.
Satan’s world at its wickedness.
