Well, after the winter storm warning Than we are under a blizzard warning. Oy!
 

Big announcement tonight! 16 congregations in my city are no longer going to exist as of April 1 (only 2 of them are English). With that, at least two Kingdom Halls, and possibly a third, are no longer going to be used as KHs (one of them is ours). Things are being reorganized to better use our facilities. (Similar to the status update from @Old dated Feb 3.)

Met a nice lady from Albania this morning. We traded a few Eastern European greetings. She works with a sister we know and is familiar with some other friends. It was very conversational. I only shared one scripture. Coupla studies this pm. Weds is usually my long day, but got home by dark. Thursday is my recovery day.  I am making good progress on my territory and may have it completed in time. Woo Hoo.

Our congregation has been combined with the other congregation in our KH. First meeting today. Quite crowded, quite loud. Came away with the idea that is about time to divide again.

Two meetings canceled due to frigid weather this week.  SO sad.

Awhile back someone posted a link to the 2019 year text - blue background and white lettering.  I am using it as my wallpaper but neglected to save the file and have no idea if or where it is saved on Win 10.  I can't find the post where I got it... any ideas where it might be in here?  I'd like to print it out.  Thanks!

Well, it's been four months, almost to the day, that I had my constant passing out problem after the Sunday meeting.
 
My appt. with neurology finally came about this morning.  
 
The neurologist was completely stumped as to the cause of these repeated 'syncapol episodes'.
 
He was, however, able to rule out a whole bunch of possible culprits.
 
Thanks to going KETO, I am almost 40 pounds lighter now, and I told him my 'insulin resistance' theory.  If insulin resistance was causing all my other health woes, maybe it was the cause for this, too.
 
He said he figured it was as good an explanation as any.
 
He was astonished that the ER doc hadn't contacted the Sec. of State and that my driver's license hadn't been put on hold for six months.  
 
But, since I have had no further occurrences of this odd malady for the past four months now, he
told me I may as well just continue to drive, since my six months will be up in just two more months.
 
Finally, I left with the assurance that the root of the problem was physiological and not psychological.  
 
A diagnosis I can definitely live with...I hope.

Weary of being sick. Had sinus infection in November and it's back again this week along with strep throat. Thought i just had a cold, nup. Dizzy, cross-eyed, tired, woozy. Went to urgent care today and they put me on some stronger meds. Hope to feel better soon. Can't be soon enough, cross-eyed makes it hard to function.

My great grand daughter was baptized today. 🧡

I once read that if we all saw ourselves exactly as we look, we probably wouldn't recognise it's us. I have found this to be very true.
 
When we stare at the mirror, we see a one dimension reflection of ourselves and most times, our sight interprets things differently.
There is no perfect way of getting to know an actual description of yourself.
 
Just the way some mirrors and cameras make you appear lighter, darker, skinnier or fatter, taller or shorter than you actually are, so also can one individual's description of you differ from another individual.
 
You may be insecure about some physical feature you have. While one individual may agree about the description of that feature you are insecure about, another may describe it as worse than you see it, another may not even see what you actually insecure about.
 
Beauty is indeed in the eyes of the beholder.

Meeting Brother Malenfant and his wife was encouraging. He gave two amazing talks. Both are great examples. Wonderful to have that assembly with them.

The Governing Body cannot legislate what websites and videos we see on our electronic devices. But there is a "firewall" for every device, and that is "our love for Jehovah"!
