My deepest sympathy for anyone who has tinnitus that loud. I am so sorry brother Shawn. I can hear mine on the highway with trucks going by but at least I get 5 minutes a day rest. It just started one night 2 years ago and about a year ago I started getting vertigo as well. I fell over on Monday caring our Smokey into the back yard and got scratched all over in the process. :o( Time for some more diluted organic apple cider vinegar in my left ear. Oops that was not a recommendation to anyone so do not follow any advice that I am not giving. :o)

I was absolutely ecstatic to see Peter and Sue being interviewed. I used to be in his mothers group in Brisbane before she died and caught up with them in Sydney the year of the bombing.They were always a nice couple putting kingdom interests first. It was such a shock opening our newspaper and seeing the KH blown apart. David Winder who looked after the pioneer desk was giving the public talk when it happened. A sister at a recent funeral said she has had tinnitus for 50 years. I also look forward to the high pitch in my left ear to disappear one day. It just never ever stops. Oh only in the shower the noise is drowned out but who can afford to stay in the shower for hours. I would look like a prune. Well done Peter and Sue!

I once won a car at the Brisbane motor show. I had a choice of 9 cars and picked the Toyota corona for resale value. I sold the car and with some extra $ bought a block of land, built a house and voila there it is. I was landscaping for a large company and finished at 3am and picked up a couple of free tickets to the show. My wife's relatives wanted to go to the show for free and so i went with them and put my 2 entries in the box [100,000 entries] and then later I got a call from the event CEO that I had won and come down and pick which car I wanted. When she saw me she knew that I had worked at the show and just said "Don't enter next year ok? " The only thing I have won since is a free chocolate bar. :o)

Great movie especially from a real event. I enjoyed it.

Down under we always write first the day/month/ year but when we moved to Canada we saw it was sometimes the same as Australia and other times it was month/day/year. So which is more logical? I hope this doesn't get as heated as when I started the Metric/ Imperial thread. :o)

After 7 weeks I and my son and my brother are all glad my wife is back in the kitchen. I can survive cooking myself but my wife is a connoisseur cook which I have given that title 3 times to others in my last 40 years.

Excuse me brother but no so cool 2 hours north of Melbourne! We seem to average about 9 degrees hotter than you. And March has been a shocker with high 30's expected for another week. It is supposed to be Autumn now. I am having trouble keeping the KH and my own garden alive at the moment. Late last night it was still 36 degrees celsius. Not cool here. Oh and when my wife went to Ukraine on Jan 14 it was 43 degrees and -21 there. Now that's cool!

My relatives are in Ukraine and I hope that is where they stay. They are not in the truth and cost us a small fortune every year. Just all relative you think. I think not. :o) Just having fun.
