Finally the question of beards is answered! 😁 Seriously though, we’re getting so many new thoughts/clarifications and direction (including field service reporting etc) coming in thick and fast lately, I’m glad brother Lett included in his comments that we must keep up with the Chariot…. Not running ahead, trying to implement changes before the time, or lagging behind, not agreeing with changes! Very balanced update….

This is just terrible! Poor brothers and sisters. It just shows as we get deeper and deeper into the end of this wicked system things will go from bad to worse. Prayers for the 2 sisters and their family’s. How tragic….

I absolutely loved the new video on Abraham, can’t wait for part 2 next month. (Can you tell I’m a big fan of the video dramas!) Our brothers work so hard to help us ‘get into’ the lives of Bible characters. To feel what they felt, to hear and see what they did, and to help us feel the struggles they had. In a word it helps is to view these ones as normal people like us. what great faith they had to have to be able to leave all that comfortable life behind to live in tents….

Yes that is correct. Here in the UK in my congregation there are no windows at all. We just have a fire escape door at the front of the hall and the entrance doors have no windows but are wooden.

As this world deteriorates that wouldn’t be a bad idea. I know that won’t stop every act of violence but it will help to limit it.

And I had just got home from my meeting when I heard the breaking news… I came home, many of our brothers and sisters never did! So very sad 😢 lots of prayers for them all 🙏

Oh wow! This is a terrible Quake. All those people. I just watched a big block of flats collapse in like 5 seconds! All those people. 😔 Praying our brothers and sisters are safe 🙏

We have our new co this week. It was so nice having our first meeting yesterday with hardly any masks on. To see the smiling faces again in person was a pleasure. But of course some were still wearing them for various reasons and that too is fine 😊

Oh wow! What a great broadcast. So much emphasis on making disciples. Really loved the part when the brother said we need to pray for a Bible study, and keep praying about it as well as working along with our prayers by offering a Bible study to everyone we meet including relatives, neighbors, ect. Of course it’s things we’ve heard before but now there’s so much emphasis in helping the rightly disposed to get baptized while there’s still time. Oh and I really liked Jades storyline. Plus the original song was very moving indeed….

Wow! What a moving update! What faith our dear brothers have shown…. One of the things that came across was how encouraged they were with all the letters, pictures sent to them. The drawing of the brother and his wife in Jehovahs hands! Emotional for sure.

I really liked these two videos, powerful lessons. I hope we’ll get more and more short videos like these in the future. I don’t know about anyone else but I tend to remember the lessons more when it’s a video rather than just reading it. I hope they will continue.

It was announced at out last meeting that if we (our congregation in Essex UK) are in a position to be able to accommodate some refugees we can now give our names in to the brothers. As @Luisabolasaid, we’re not in a position where we can offer accommodation, but what a lovely thing to do to be able to help these dear brothers and sisters, so they know we love them. I can’t imagine the horrors some of these dear ones have witnessed in their escape.

I’ve just seen this update on our website. Sad to hear 2 sisters were killed. We pray for their families at this very sad time. It’s good to see how the brothers are organised to help these ones. Let’s hope and pray this war won’t last too much longer. How we long for a better world 🙏

Day 20 and this conflict is getting worse by the day. So sad to see the needless loss of life. It was heartbreaking to learn of that pregnant lady they stretchered out of the bombed maternity unit, has died along with her baby! 😢 I think I need to take a break from watching the news…

Oh I’m so glad you said that! I am anxious obviously, having someone poke a needle in your eye is not something I’m looking forward to, but you saying the results will be great is what I needed to hear…thank you. Oh my! That was really young for you. Yes I understand the asterisk description! I also have like double vision…they call it ‘ghosting’ in the ophthalmology field. Its only because it’s starting to impact my driving that I’m getting them done as I still want to keep my independence, especially now we’re starting in-person meetings. I would struggle driving at night right now ☹️
