So to catch everyone up, David and I were married on 29th March. It was, basically us two, David's parents and two friends at the registry office. Then we had a Zoom talk and get together. It was incredibly nice. I might post some pics soon. Thank you all who showed concern and kept us in your prayers. 

Today I had the part about not being disloyal. My computer  suddenly lost power in the middle of a comment. Fortunately it was a brother who always gives looooong comments. I ran to a different device and logged into Zoom and he was still speaking. Apparently nobody noticed.

I may have not done a thorough search, but I was wondering if you have had success with showing hospitality to our Zoom public speakers? What works?

I needed a bit of a break, because I found a lot of the topics on some subjects to be really emotional, I think because David and I have been struggling a lot with getting married, and over the years, I've been struggling a lot in my relationship with my mom.
Long story short, I have the visa now, so now it's just a case of navigating through travel in a Covid world.
I'm sure David will be a big help though

Our Sunday meeting is cancelled due to really bad snowing and blowing conditions.
 
But, at least we still have power...for now.

We have our 1-day Assembly with
our C.O. this weekend, so no Mid-week meeting tonight.
 
Seems really strange. 

Had my normal Sunday shift for security: 12:30-5 pm.
 
Turns out my security partner and I are going back later tonight for midnight to 5 am. 😁
 
Actually the last thing I heard was they are looking at August 3 as the completion date (had the wrong date on my last post). Removing the trailers on the 6th and 7th and than some kind of meeting or something on the 8th.
 
Going to miss the dear friends that have come and worked soooo HARD on this project. Some have come a long ways from their homes and have stayed here for almost the duration.

Friends from my congregation had a get together Friday night. The friends (workers) enjoyed the hospitality and wonderful food and association. Weather was beautiful.
 
Later a brother played his guitar and a sister sang. Than the sister’s son in law played the guitar 🎸 and than switched to a clarinet(?) and she (all of us) sang Kingdom songs.
 
Anyway, a few days before the get together the sister putting it on called and asked if I could go into my “parking” act and show the friends where to park. 
 
After the brother explained to me how he wanted the friends to park I took it over from there. It went pretty smooth. Ahhhh! Memories of RBC. 😁😁😁😁😁😁
 
 

Attending Day One of Regional in Portland, Oregon today, anyone going to b there?

Just watched the video “The arrest and detention of Dennis Christensen - A summary”. It shows the many letters of encouragement he has received from around the world. Where would I find his address?

I am LOVING the Research Guide addition to our Study Bible. I am spending so much more time pondering over the study material, it is so easy to use. It makes me think of the piles of indexes, books, and bound volumes I used to have on my desk. I am so appreciative of how we are taken care of!
