    Well, I don't remember very well but in our Special Meeting in our country last January, the representantive of the Governing Body said in his talk that there's more than 400,000 publishers spanish natives in US today. I'm not really sure about the number but it's a huge amount of native spanish JW's there.

    Some months ago I was supporting a congregation with 18 publishers from about 6 miles away my home. Meetings had an assistance of 15-23 people.     Hey guys, I've heard from some brothers from my neighbor congregation that there will be a special convention here in Brazil next year. Someone could confirm it, please?

    I realized that people sang louder with those new songs. It was amazing how attendance was excited to start singing them. I sang so loud that my voice almost got hoarse!

    What amazing program!!! I was thinking how they can do every program better than the last one. The original song is beautiful! The talk, the stories... I have to watch it again!

    It's interesting to how different it is the Portuguese version from English version of the new songbook. Still I didn't see all the songs but I think ALL the songs has some changes. While the song 'He Will Make Your Strong' didn't had any changes in English version, in Portuguese this same song has the title changed and some slight others changes.

    Wow!!! The set of covers for 2017 is being such amazing! Is it only me who miss both magazines (Watchtower and Awake) with 32 pages each month? Anyway, I feel I'm being fed in an appropriate time.

    I thought exctly it! Anyway, I don't think we're gonna pick our new songbooks in this special meeting as happened with revised NWT in 2015 'cause 6 months until we really could sing it's so much time!

    The new songbook will be avalaible in Portuguese to be sung starting from May, 29!

    I think the font of the lyrics could be bigger. There's no lack of space in the screen...

    This is a wonderful song. One of my favorite of this new group of songs. My favorite part it's this one: "The love that you showed me up I won't forget. I will recompense you with everlasting life." (one part of the chorus in Portuguese) My eyes shine in this verse! Anyway, my "most favorite" is "Light in a Darkened World". The melody here is so epic!

How I Found the Truth

  • How I found the Truth
    I started to study the Bible through my mother who was a publisher. Today, she's not serving to Jehovah, including also my father. Although, my mother stopped to read the "My Book of Bibles Stories" and I passed many years without keeping to know Jehovah. When I was 8, I moved into a neighborhood close to my aunt who is a Jehovah's Witness. She was my first and only teacher who had the patience to help through 10 long years when I finally got baptized on the Convention of 2015.
