Ishaya's Achievements

  1. Mental illness is a terrible thing, But why would a mentally challenged person be allowed to roam the streets instead of be in an asylum? I don't expect something like that In a developed country like Australia. In the USA,I hear alot of drug inflicted homeless people are common sights on the streets now. Why Is the welfare system in developed countries suddenly failing abysmally.
  2. It's a beautiful poem really, Can you now wake up from your dreams please 😊
  3. Bro Mike the video is playing alright, Maybe it's your network. It's Louis Armstrong, the jazz legend,be careful not to miss it,it will mean alot.
  4. Bro Suresh, i don't really understand this issue you're talking about, can you please explain it better for me. What worldwide election are you talking about?
  5. It makes me to wonder 🤔 are there other groups in Europe who are also refusing military service like Jehovah's witnesses? Or is this conscription specifically done with Jehovah's witnesses in mind?
  6. I think congregation members too should learn to cooperare with arrangements put in place for security. In my kh we bolt the main gate after entering for meetings,a stranger from outside will hardly know how to unbolt the gate and come in by themselves.but unfortunately some brothers don't bother much with this arrangement, they just leave the gate open when they come in. I really think we all should feel responsible in securing the brotherhood and properties used for Jehovah's worship.
  7. Brothers who are assigned as attendants during meetings should learn to be at high alert please. To be assigned as an attendant is a very serious responsibility,it means you also have a duty to secure the kh vicinity during meeting time like a vigilante. It is not our of place to interview every new person you noticed before even allowing entrance into the vicity of the kh.
  8. I thought,it was his son-in-law who bought the Brooklyn watchtower building? His family may seen quite acquainted with our organization.does anyone know any experience between them and Jw's?
  9. Wow,do you hate him that much? well I can understand,Trump is full of drama 😄 But I do see him as someone who has some amount of concern about his Christian faith,it's just that he is so full of drama.
  10. Its not really about being positive, its more about being realistic. this is what will happen, being positive will not change it. Do you think that Noah was not positive or even hopeful that all his sibblings, his parents perhaps, his close friends, his in-laws etc will accept his message and get saved? Or do you think that Abraham was not hopeful that the whole of Lots family will get saved? still Lots wife made her own choice that lead to her demise. Aaron was a Jehovah's High priest,a sterling role model for his children, yet Nadab and Abihu made their own poor choice and died as a result, same with Samuel's sons and Eli's son's. The fact is that we don't have much control over how people choose to live,or what they choose to believe. There is no way that all the people that we would like to be save will get saved, there will always be someone that will not make it.this will be a test of the strength of our attachment to Jehovah, which is the first commandment.
  11. We will all loose loved ones with this system, its a reality we must accept. Jehovah is choosing very specific type of people to live forever with him as his servants,we cannot change how Jehovah makes his choices. I have worried about the people I may loose but it was not helping me emotionally,I have made my peace with that. I can only keep trying to help my loved ones to make themselves deserving so that Jehovah can choose them, but we cannot determine much how people live their lives We must learn from now how we can leave on without others who don't make it.our strongest attachment is to Jehovah not with any other person,we need to begin to prove our attachment to Jehovah from now,so that we are able to cope with this situation in the new world.
  12. You know, I was wondering why we can't have a radio station now, since we already have a tv station? Might the WBBR radio station have a comeback? I think it will be especially useful now both for witnessing and in encouraging the brotherhood. Ive not been able to have access to the jw TV station on free to air but a radio station will be more accessible to a lot more brothers I guess.
  13. Did Adam and those who lived at his time ever eat meat as food? although Jehovah hadn't given the permission to eat meat at that time,it may be that some people had already started doing things their own way (as usual),and yet they lived longer too, right ? Am not sure at what point Adam started eating meat as food, but it makes sense that he would have stuck to eating the fruits and vegetables he was already used to for perhaps a very long time before being ask out of the garden. This may have played a part in hi longevity. No doubt vegetables will play a significant role as always in maintaining the biochemical processes that keep us alive and healthy,it wasn't for fun that Jehovah started humans on that diet,it was for necessity. But,Will we stop eating meat in the new world?I'm not sure, but I'm sure going to miss my barbeque(suya) if we will have to stop eating meat, I'm already feeling sad about that one.
