Yeah, I know you’re not saying that. I posted that article because it appears he gets a lot of his rhetoric/ideas from Hitler. It seems Trump wants to emulate him since he was so successful at brainwashing a lot of the people of Germany.

I could never understand why some women support him, especially publicly. This is a man who’s been accused of rape, has cheated on his wife with a porn star, has made disparaging remarks about women’s appearances, and has admitted to sexual assault. As far as the Bible’s are concerned, that’s all fake. So many conservative politicians put on a pretense like they’re religious to appeal to their base. His life doesn’t reflect that of a Christian. If he had any real respect for the Bible, he would have never came out with one, since he’s surrounded by so much scandal and controversy. Even Jehovah wouldn’t let David build the temple because he was a “man of war.” And if you’re going to release a Bible, do it because you love God’s word, not because you want to pay for legal fees. And I think it’s disgusting that he added the constitution, the Bill of Rights, and the lyrics to “God bless the USA” to the Bible, as if they’re scripture. It’s really just pandering to the many “Christian Nationalists” that make up a lot of his supporters. but Christian Nationalists are so ignorant that after enough time goes by, they will eventually think those things are scripture 🤦🏾‍♂️

That’s true. It has been my experience that if you make up part of a certain ethnic group, many people in the world act as if you’re not supposed to have anything. They expect you to walk around with bad credit and not have a penny to your name. And when you are doing well for yourself financially, they can’t stand it. Especially you’re doing better than them. You could be driving the same car as them, live in the same neighborhood, and be in the same tax bracket, and they still hate to see you doing good. Unfortunately, some brothers and sisters have this same attitude, and it can be very discouraging. I’ve had several other friends tell me the exact same thing.

I’m learning very quickly that sometimes it’s best to share investment or other financial plans with people you sense really care about you. Some folks act as if they want to see you win financially and secure a solid financial future for yourself, even offering advice… but the moment you start making moves, it becomes apparent they never did. I never could understand envy and competition. I want to see everyone win in life. Not just financially but in all aspects. Oh, well. It’s a learning experience. I will continue to share financial goals in this thread to encourage those who are considering similar things though 😊

I have but not heavily. I think I read something that said if you convert a traditional to a ROTH (401K I think), you can’t withdraw the money until 5 years. That would be terrible if the economy entered a bear market after the 5 years and you were ready to retire. I was like no way 👎🏾 Plus, Dave Ramsey always says ROTH beats traditional. I’m not part of the Dave Ramsey cult that hangs on to every word he says… but I agree with him on that.
