  1. I use an app called "send files to TV" from the play store and I was able to install the APK for JW library on my Android TV. I'm using an Nvidia Shield Android TV device, but it should work for you as well. You can download the APK from our website here: https://www.jw.org/en/online-help/jw-library/android/manually-install-jw-library-android/
  2. Goto images.google.com. In the search box format it like this: site:jw.org paradise In this example pictures related to the paradise will be found.
  3. According to the FAQ, it has to be windows 10 1903 and above. https://www.jw.org/en/online-help/jw-library/windows/faqs/
  4. Sounds like a DNS issue with your ISP, if it's working on other devices. I'm not having issues myself and I'm on Comcast Business.
  5. Sinclair ZX-81 Radio Shack MC-10 Radio Shack Color Computer 3 Commodore Amiga 500 Later in the 80's, I inherited an IBM XT Clone.
  6. Minimum android version is 7.0 with the latest version of JW library. More info here: https://www.jw.org/en/online-help/jw-library/android/
  7. My daughter and I like to do covers of songs. This song is kind of a Jazz/Pop mix:
  8. I use this, but it does require an ipad or iphone: https://apps.apple.com/us/app/library-merger/id1539780103
  9. We use these at our hall, and they work great. You can reach the friends sitting in the middle. https://a.co/d/4bv5GL0
  10. I have a Chevy Bolt EUV and it has an ATT hotspot with unlimited usage for $20/mo. It allows me to share that with people in the car with tablets, etc and I have used it via wi-fi calling when I'm in an area with poor coverage with TMobile, my primary carrier. There are some areas where T-Mobile works and ATT doesn't, but I like the idea of having redundancy and it's good for the kids and their tablets when we are traveling. My work phone is on Verizon, and so far I haven't been somewhere where at least one of them works... I got T-Mobile a long time ago when they had a family plan at $20/line for unlimited, and have not found anything that compares to it.
  11. It is a cover of a song by Taylor Swift. I used sheet music from musicnotes.com and arranged it using Studio One 5.5.
  12. OBS is also very useful in video production. I also use it on-site for baptisms during the circuit assemblies or conventions, and it has a virtual camera output that is compatible with zoom.
  13. There is a free program called OBS Studio that works great for doing this. Here is a tutorial of how to do it:
  14. I had a similar problem a few weeks ago. I wrote the branch and explained to them what happened, but they had no issues they could detect on their end. I'm assuming it must have been some kind of issue with my local internet provider, which is Xfinity-Comcast. I'm near San Francisco in the east bay area. Sent from my SM-G986U using Tapatalk
  15. I appreciate the direction, and will not include video without explicit instruction from the branch. Sent from my SM-G986U using Tapatalk
  16. I use this software: https://www.xsplit.com/presenter Allows me to display both pictures or video. Here is a screenshot of my set up I used for a recent public talk. Used video from the recent Daniel drama.
  17. I have a feeling a lot of the video itself starts in 4k, but to save cost and bandwidth, the branch distributes it in 720P. One thing from the past, when the first Caleb and Sophia video was released at the convention on DVD, there was a 720P version of it on the DVD as a file to play on your computer. It was a much higher bit rate than what they ended up putting on the website, which it had better picture quality. In the end, it's quality of the content that matters the most. 18. My Nvidia Shield does a nice job up- converting it to 4k (looks sharper than the Roku built into my TV). However, it would be nice to have 5.1 sound. With that said, I'm happy with what Jehovah provides. The trailer to the Daniel movie definitely gives my subwoofer a workout! Screenshot below is from watching live over zoom. 19. I bought this tablet for a sister in her late 80's. She likes it a lot. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B083JVJQH4/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_glc_fabc_7HGE7JXM7AAX1K5A91K6?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1 I've not tried it, but it may be able to be connected with HDMI with this, which works with my android phones. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B079M6GZTG?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share Sent from my SM-G986U using Tapatalk
  20. I love this song. Added my daughters vocals. A friend of mine in my local congregation is playing the guitar. Another brother I met from a congregation in Florida is on the drums. It's fun doing these collaborations. All glory though goes to Jehovah for giving us the gift of music!
