  1. I hope I have uploaded this properly, please follow instructions carefully If affected by this virus.
  2. I've been to see Les miserable 7 times love it can't wait to get it on DVD in May. Made me cry every time esp empty chairs and empty tables.
  3. I have a ipad mini and find it really easy to use. I have down loaded the watchtower study edition and other books like songbook from jw.org. My phone though is an android but never having an android tablet i cant comment really. My friend, a sister who is really into tablets said she tried the samsung tablet but didnt like it and sent it back. My advice would be to ask other brothers and sisters who have a tablet if you can have a go on theirs before you buy then you will get the feel of one i did this with the i pad and was really happy with it.
  4. Thanks Lynn I'm glad to Ben back to I was really frustrated as I couldn't log in so I couldn't send a message either. Finally after several attempts at asking for a new password I logged in on my iPad so I knew then it was my lap top . It was just trying different things to find the solution. :bouncing
  5. Well I have thankfully sorted the problem now. It was Firefox Internet explorer I have removes it and gone. Back to google.

How I Found the Truth

  • How I found the Truth
I always believed in God and wanted to learn about the Bible. When I was about 14 I decided I would start to read the Bibe myself. So I started in Genesis but found that I had more questions than answers, like 'Why did Adam live to 930? I asked my mum and she said they weren't real years that years in Bible times were different to our years. But that didn't work out either. Also God said to Adam 'In the day you eat the fruit, you will die' This caused more confusion as Adam lived to 930 he obviously didn't die,so was God lying to Adam. Anyway I gave it up as a bad job, hoping i would find the truth later on. When I was 17 I started getting the Mags off 2 pioneer brothers who came to my house. I really enjoyed the bible chats. Then one day i mentioned about getting the mags to a work collegue who then told me my Boss was an Elder with JWs. I then started to have discussions with him. He invited me to meetings which i came to and quickly started to study and several months later I was Baptised, at 18 years old. However when I was 20 I was going through a difficult time with housing I ended up living in a Hostel and mixing with bad company. I started smoking and ended up disfellowshipped. After that I got on with life I got married had 3 children. I never forgot the truth I would often have discussions with my husband about the truth. Most importantly i never blamed the truth for disfellowshipping me i always told him why we disfellowship to keep the congregation clean. I carried on smoking till about 5 yrs ago when i became ill through it it had damaged my lungs I developed asthma and was wondering if it had turned to COPD. I gave up smoking in feb 2006 and thankfully my symptoms cleared up. A while later my hubby asked me if i had thought of going back to meetings but i thought it was too late but it had made me think and i started praying again asking Jehovah to help me. I found the number for our local KH. When i rang the number i found out they hadn
