Got Bandit home around 2 pm. Played outside. Now he’s taking a nap.

In defense for my 3 small pups I have 2 dehumidifiers running to deflect the sound of all the HUGE booms of the fireworks occurring here on the beach. Oh pah.leese! Stupid  people, huge cannons going off, I mean teeth rattling. 

I was finally able to get into the insurance business where I get my car insurance thru. Anyway, I explained about the hit and run on my car. I just wanted direction and see how much it’ll cost me (deductible). I just need one estimate and she explained that I have Broad Collision(?) so nothing out of my pocket. 😳

I was finally able to get into the insurance business where I get my car insurance thru. Anyway, I explained about the hit and run on my car. Washer hose busted 🤪🤪 😳 So I’ve been mopping kitchen floor, still have to do little room where the washer is. 🥵🥵

Amber Alert delivered to phone an hour ago, curfew not just parts of LA, but in all of LA County, CA in effect 6 PM-6 AM.
 
After some peaceful protests in the city we live in, it of course turned into looting. Police sirens heard everywhere right now. We live on a very busy street, albeit in a back unit. Scary. 
 
Our congregation's meeting for field service tomorrow at 10 AM. Really need to attend that to gain encouragement.

Up in Marquette MI USA (about 40 some miles west of me) we had our own protest group (due to the officer killing that man) with signs, and rantings. They left from the University and marched to the City Police station. The news guy tried to keep up with them and he breathed/huffing & puffing like me pushing the lawn mower.
 
Anyway, all that was said was that tensions rose as they entered the parking lot.

What a great day! Spent the morning Zooming with a few friends. Those making phone calls are now finding people must not be home as much. But a couple sisters had great calls and one a new Bible study. 
 
This afternoon, Ross and I spent a nice long afternoon (3 hours) researching and writing letters.
 
I did something I never thought I would do. Write my brother a letter. We basically never got along as kids all the way to being adults jand him refusing the truth and a few other reasons we’re just not close...at all.
 
So, I’ll mail the letter tomorrow, which his wife will probably tear up anyway. But than I can’t say I didn’t try.
