In the past 48 hours, Taiwan has been hit with 22 quakes 5.0+ in magnitude,
plus 2 more quakes registering 6.0+
That's 24 strong jolts in just the past two days, with no let up.

Something is going on in Taiwan. They've had five 5.0+ quakes in just the last two hours.
And all of them hit on land at a very shallow depth.

Meanwhile my brother who is on his first ever trip to Australia, is stuck in Dubai. His connecting flight to Australia was cancelled due to hurricane Hannah which is currently hitting UAE.

This was a heartbreaker photo. This is Kenzie our next door neighbors dog. Her owner, Gail told me she was having health issues so I took some photos of her. As I was petting the dog I could tell she was not well. I took the pictures, uploaded them and had some printed for her, including an 8X10. I just got the photos today and went to give them to Gail. It was today she told me her little dog died the next day after I took the photos.

Our chairman for the midweek meeting last night had grown a beard but he shaved it off a couple of weeks ago. His 20 year-old son grew a beard at the same time. It looks nice. the son had a student part on the program last night and his dad was his counselor.
One part of counsel was "facial expressions". His father said he did well but we all had a little trouble identifying the expressions under the hair...😀
