Helen, I wish the German government would do something about the church/tax issues in our country! Instead, every taxpayer in Germany - irrespective of religious creed, national/ethnic origin - unknowingly contributes to the training of catholic priests and pays for many other church-related matters - all this based on contracts dating back approx. 200 years. It's about time for this scandal to be widely revealed and STOPPED !
