  1. Some positive comments in the news about the cart work during SuperBowl week. https://www.fox5vegas.com/2024/02/09/1000-jehovahs-witnesses-reach-out-super-bowl-fans-las-vegas/
  2. Not sure if it’s a monthly broadcast or GB update but there’s a short clip on Mark Sanderson having a study via laptop, which I think is a Mac. Thanks for your help if you know the video!
  3. Good to see this is getting more attention, locally we've done two this year. The first at Mass General in Boston back in April: massachusetts-general-hospital-completes-its-first-bloodless-heart-transplant-patient-of-jehovahs-witness (massgeneral.org)
  4. Guests for the Annual Meeting are allowed tours of specific areas not commonly seen on regular tour. We were in-person for the annual meeting back in 2019 when we also toured JWB, although it was much more interactive back then. We also had a tour Mt Ebo and got a demonstration of the new video wall. If felt like IMAX on steroids!
  5. Just getting back from NY this week, had nice tours of Warwick, Patterson (the new visitors center is open!) and Wallkill. While touring Tuxedo for JWB they mentioned how the videos are made. For the monthly broadcast they are recorded up to 6 months in advance (I thought it was 3 before). For the GB updates they are recorded on a Monday and ready for the brotherhood on Friday the same week, so if it's going to come on the 20th it's recorded on the 13th.
  6. I think your notes are still there, I thought mine was lost also but see them now (took a few minutes to re-appear). Now another issue one one of my iPads (iPad Pro 12.9 3rd Gen) when I’m typing in notes it will randomly erase them and I have to start typing all over. Been doing this all morning.
  7. Playing around with Playlists, tried using the 2023 Convention videos (I merged the two mornings and afternoons into one file). The timing is all off, but they place nicely.
  8. I think May & June 2023 are the months it's going to be 'featured'.
  9. We had a Field Rep come to our hall and do the typical PowerPoint presentation when a renovation is going to happen with the BOE's of the KH. You can play a PowerPoint presentation w/o having PowerPoint installed. Also, he had a USB receiver that he used to advance the slides - no issues controlling it from the platform.
  10. This is the message when you try to reach the page now: Territory Assistant is temporarily offline We are working to bring everything back online as soon as we can. This work may take several days. Thank you for your patience. You can reach us at support@territoryassistant.com if you have additional questions
  11. Does anyone know if territoryassistant is still available? I'm no longer able to access the webpage.
  12. ProShowGold worked well for me over the years, it's been replaced with a new cloud-based tool (I think its subscription based) but I still use the older version. I created several last year for multiple funerals 😪.
  13. Surgeon performed life-saving procedure on firefighter whose religious beliefs opposed blood transfusion | Fox News Those who serve on HLC's will appreciate this. I know the brother personally. It was amazing to see Jehovah's hand throughout the entire process. He was up and walking around (albeit limited) just three days after surgery. "The surgeon said during bloodless heart surgery, physicians use meticulous surgical techniques and innovative procedures to minimize surgical blood loss and avoid the need for a transfusion. El-Hamamsy said besides providing peace of mind to these patients, there has been study after study that show patients who do not receive blood transfusions have a better recovery than those who receive even a small amount of blood."
  14. Hello, if there is anyone who is coordinating the A/V for PSS this year via JWL please message me directly - thanks!
  15. Same here. We also have no problems using VLC...although it's only used now when the Public Speaker has images. Since most C/O images / videos are now in JW Library that works great also (even sharing on Zoom from the hall).
  16. We have a similar setup to post #12 - but we have 2 PTZ's installed (many years ago). We were streaming our meetings vis KHConf - Video. We'd use PTZ #2 for talks on the schools, demo's etc. We have a switcher installed to do this. Early in the pandemic (April 2020 I think) we streamed a funeral from the hall. Just 3 brothers were present. We launched Zoom from the KH PC and spotlighted the PTZ focused on the brother giving the talk. We didn't have any issues with JW Library when it came to the songs on screen #2. We use a program called JWLMediaWin to keep the output on the 2nd screen when screen sharing in Zoom.
  17. I was in a meeting yesterday; we had a member of the US Branch Committee give a brief update (as of 6pm est they were still waiting for updates from a few dozen congregations) but so far 25 homes were completely destroyed along with 10 KH's damaged...but thankfully so far no one was injured! Look for a full update on jw.org.
  18. Random question (sorry if already addressed)...our org account doesn't allow for profile pictures to be shown and some friends seemed to find a loophole with that and have a image display (sometimes animated) as their video. Sometimes the attendant needs to stop the 'video' based on the content but is there anyway to disable that as well? Thanks!
  19. Update: noticed there was an update to JW Library in the MS store, v12.4.152.0. After the update this is working fine now on my ARM processor tablet!
  20. I'll be curious if anyone is able to get this to work, I know others with ARM processor tablet and it's no longer working. It has been working fine on my Surface Pro-X for almost 2 years until the last JW Library update now it says 'can't connect to the Internet'.
  21. Horrible situation just watched on CNN. We were in the Special Convention in Sri Lanka last year. We weren't allowed to do territory with the friends due to on-going religions conflicts but as mentioned in a recent broadcast this was their first special convention. We've reached out to several in the country to see how they are doing.
  22. We had bro Saki Marais at our 2016 RC, interestingly on the last part Sunday he went 45mins overtime
