  1. WTLIB (Watchtower library (cd)) installation Pls do not mix up with jw library. 😉 I try to install WTLIB on a MAC (apple silicon M1) Like my previous Mac I tried with Wine & a bottler. Wine installed without problems. Then downloaded ISO file from JW and mount it. When bottling I get that error msg: ###BOTTLING### default.sh /Applications/WineBottler.app/Contents/Frameworks/WBottler.framework/Resources/bottler.sh: line 39: /Applications/Wine.app/Contents/Resources/bin/wine: Bad CPU type in executable ###BOTTLING### Gathering debug Info... I’d prefer to avoid that… Some says Wine does not work for M1 chips others says yes… I found a site.talking about homebrew (https://docs.brew.sh/Installation) to install wine, anyone tried that one ? Any tips for WTLIB installation on a MAC M1 are welcome ! Thanks in advance.
  2. I hope someone can help me here. A few months ago, my Windows XP desktop up and died. Took me a while to realize it was more than just a few corrupt files - the hard drive was bad. I've replaced the hard drive, put on the same Windows XP Pro SP3 system I had before and am up and running with internet and a wireless printer finally! The only thing I don't have that I badly need is a copy of Watchtower Library that will allow you to download updates manually. The last CD-Rom I have is 2013, it doesn't allow for manual updates but I think I need a 2016 or newer file in order to get manual updates. Can someone help me? I'd love to have a file I can download straight from this site to my computer and then update it to 2022. My 2013 Watchtower Library CD-Rom won't let me do that. Thank you all for your help and attention to my problem, I truly appreciate it.
  3. Good day brothers and sisters! Did you know? You can install watchtower library on your android phone using an windows emulator. [A friendly reminder: You may have at least 64gb or 128gb internal storage on your phone] Watch this →YT tutorial← on how to install the Exagear Windows Emulator on your android phone. After you install it, download WTL from jw.org. [Reminder: Install first, RAR app from Play store, so you can extract the file of WTL from your phone] Extract WTL installer to Download folder on your phone storage [not sd card storage]. After you extracted the WTL. You may now open the exagear app. On the app, go to manage container, run explorer, then, a folder will open, look for WTL installer. Now you can install the WTL. After you install the WTL, edit the text/font, because the text will a box-like font. [See the images below as your guide to know where to click/tap] Go to Library, see for Properties, Look for Font, and select the font you want. I will post again on how to update the WTL on exagear emulator.
  4. On the Watchtower Library is the any way you can enlarge the text for a subject you are looking up ? Now that I am getting older it is very hard for me to make out the type. Thank you, GStorrs46
  5. When you look for a scripture in the Watchtower Library CDROM, it shows the reading from the new 2013 edition. Is there a way to quickly see that same verse in the old version? So far the only way I know to find a verse in the 1984 Reference Edition is going to All Publications - Bibles - Reference Bible and use the menus to find the verse. If you are trying to read Psalms 119:150 that method is rather clumsy.
  6. A brother in my congregation just got a Windows 8 tablet. It looks like the Microsoft Surface and is running Windows 8 Pro, so it should be possible to install Watchtower Library on the device, as well as ANY other Windows compatible program. The question is, how is this done?.... since most software comes from the store on a CD or DVD.
