  1. How to glamp ( camp luxuriously ) during a pandemic stay at home order. 1. Buy a folding trailer kit and swap out 12 inch wheels for 13 inch ones ( Hard to get 12 inch wheels with good load range ). Don't forget the spare. 2. Assemble trailer in your living room. 3. Add 2x4 àt each end. 3/4 inch plywood deck. I got recycled plywood. Remember trailer folds in half. 4. Build on top of deck a 5 and half inch high frame ( has to clear oversized tires ) 63 to 66 inches wide and 96+ inches long. Build in 2 sections so that can fit unassembled into elevator and closet. Lay 5/8 inch plywood over frame. I used 62 x 20 inch recycled plywood. 5. Make sides and ends 24 to 27 inches tall. My long sides are 98 inches long. A 90 inch plus 8 inch piece with scab for reinforcement. My ceilings are less than 8 foot. Remember closet storage. 6.Run 2x3 along top edge and put thick pipe insulation on top to make soft edges. 7.Buy a full length truck tent and brackets for clips. 8. Remove wheels ( less than 8 foot ceiling ). Stabilize trailer. Setup tent on trailer. 9. Enjoy glamping on your home made tent trailer set up in your living room with all the comforts of home. That is how to enjoy glamping during a stay at home order. Felix ( cat ) and I are testing it out tonight. Still got to finish sanding and painting sides but soon it will be ready for the open road when order lifted.
  2. Here are some pics of our Glamping trip. One word of advice. Take half or less of what you think you need. Our Quigley mountain climbing.

About JWTalk.net - Jehovah's Witnesses Online Community

Since 2006, JWTalk has proved to be a well-moderated online community for real Jehovah's Witnesses on the web. However, our community is not an official website of Jehovah's Witnesses. It is not endorsed, sponsored, or maintained by any legal entity used by Jehovah's Witnesses. We are a pro-JW community maintained by brothers and sisters around the world. We expect all community members to be active publishers in their congregations, therefore, please do not apply for membership if you are not currently one of Jehovah's Witnesses.
