  1. Couplets frequently rhyme and have the same length and rhythm, or meter. There are closed couplets, where the two lines are separate sentences, and open couplets, where the first line runs onto the second line. Couplets whether closed or open, the two lines belong together, forming a unit and sharing a thought. https://examples.yourdictionary.com/couplet-examples.html Perhaps the best place to start when looking for couplets is with the famous couplets from William Shakespeare. He often ended a sonnet with a rhyming couplet that summed up the main theme of the poem.
  2. I run a private Minecraft realm for the brothers and sisters, and have a number of players already, but could use some more to populate the realm. Different time zones are welcome. You may know brother Vinnie in this forum, who also plays in this realm. This Realm is strictly for Witnesses only, there is no PvP (no fighting or killing other players), and with the help of Vinnie, we have all "undead/occult" mobs removed (they teleport to the void as soon as they spawn in, for their instant destruction). The game is set to Survival mode, but Creative mode can be requested once a week for community projects. It also includes a Discord channel to let others know when you play so you can organize to play together, and it includes all the rules and info for the Realm and assistance for new players. Discord also allows for voice chat, and is free to use. If you are interested, I'll need your Minecraft name to send you an invite.
  3. https://www.projectparadisegame.com/ https://www.instagram.com/projectparadisegame/ I'm definitely interested in where this is headed. I'm not sure how the concept as a 'game' will work in the traditional sense, maybe it's more like a kinetic/visual novel story based game. I've played my fair share of sidescrolling pixel based sandbox games over the years, but I've yet to see one where I couldn't nitpick something or other as objectionable, or one without something objectionable that has satisfying feedback / game loop. At least I know the art and writing will be good.
  4. So the title says it all. Choose 3 words that sum up the daily text. You can explain them if you want to but it isn't required. You can get the daily text from here, that is posted faithfully by @GrumpysWife So let's start. Monday March 5th: Others are first. Have fun!
  5. Game Rules: Summarize the spiritual benefit you derived from the daily text using just 3 words. You may post more than one entry or type multiple 3 word entries per post on any given day.
